Hi, thanks for showing the real meaning of the first part of your screen name! For Goodness sake, this site is supposed to be about money saving. Before you protest, might I add that, the majority of people may not hold down £100k pa jobs, therefore: £1 per night in a great hotel is indeed a bargain. Furthermore, I do respect your comment, but please respect that the preponderance of MSE members are gifted, (I believe), with half a brain cell and therefore realise that travel is not included, but for a night in London this works out extremely cheap......in the words of this site; budget,budget,budget!

I was unlucky enough not to get a hotel room, but I will try again next time.

Hi! I got a room in Berlin, 4* Star hotel (Hoppegarten) for 1euro on the 22nd December.. Thought I could go to Christmas markets etc.. Anyway had a look on tripadvisor and saw that the hotel is 30 mins out from the center of Berlin.. But might be driving over so could be okay Am really chuffed anyway.. Can also cancel if not! I tried getting hotels in London or Paris but site kept crashing. Hope others got lucky too

Hi, I got a room in Darlington on 16th May for my first wedding anniversary... yeah i know darlington but....... a hotel room..........champagne...........mmmmmmm!!!!!

Just wanted to say thanks.

Got 3 nights in Italy - 4* hotel - for 3€. Almost got another 4* hotel in Milan for 4 days, but website crashed at the last minute.

Also, accessed the 1€ offers at EXACTLY 7pm, and two of the Italian hotels, including the one on the Amalfi coast (the one I really wanted!) had already been marked as sold out, which should have been impossible, considering I had checked one minute earlier and the offer wasn't available then.

Along with most of the users who posted on here around 7.00, we had a bit of fun and for some they had success and well done to them and well done to MSE Jenny for posting the offer and yes well done to Martin for including it in the tip or I wouldn't have known about it.
