Your friend is right. Perfume applied to well moisturised skin will last longer than on dry skin. I imagine thats why many of the gift sets include the matching body lotion, a fragranced lotion will help the skin hold the fragrance and intensify it as well. Some body lotions are good enough to wear on their own.
I suppose thats one of the reasons that the perfume oils last so well.0 -
Don't like oils from PP. Good smell but they don't seem to last long and don't quite smell right for me so going to get some spray.
I was thinking of getting some Milton-Lloyd 50ml EDT sprays:
Bondage Hommes
America Sport
Aroma di Jean
Bondage Temptation
Popcorn Boys
Do these Milton-Lloyd sprays last or not? I would like to smell nice all day long not just for next half hour when I put on the edt.
Perhaps someone can comment on the specific EDTs I am thinking ordering above.
Thanks.

I'm wearing the Lidl Madame now, and noticed today that my local store has a Body Wash/Body Lotion set, but no price, does anyone know how much Lidl are charging for the set? Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

I bought a couple of the small perfume oils from PP, I'm considering buying one of the sprays instead. I bought the smell a like to Cacherel's Eden and Armani Sensi, they are very like the originals but I don't think they are as noticeable.
Will definitely have to have a trip to lidl, I love Mademoiselle but can't afford it these days.0 -

I wonder if you are not applying enough of the oils to make the scent last. I find them to be very long lasting but I do put them on generously. I rub the roller ball thingie on to the inside of my lower arm and then rub my arms together if you know what I mean! The smell will transfer to my clothes and is still noticeable even when I take them off in the evening.
I have several of the sprays too but I find that they are not as long lasting as the oils.0 -

I don't know whether the price has changed but when I bought some just before Christmas, I paid £7 for a bottle of the perfume and the body wash/lotion set.0 -
I registered to Money Saving Expert just for this thread!
Ive recently purchased two male oils:
Bondage (Notes similar to that found in Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male®) - Smells great and id wear it even if it doesnt smell like the original; not sure how close it is to the original as ive never had it, but im going to go scouting at boots and offer a comparison for everyone next week!
Puter (Notes similar to that found in Paco Rabanne®) - [REVISED] Im not keen on the smell of it, and its not how i remember it to be but then again ive not had the original for many years, so my sense of smell may have changed... i wouldnt recommend this particular one.
Ill get back to you next week!
Also, anyone got any tips on applying them / how much to apply to get a nice, relaxed bubble of fragrance? Im used to EDT but oils are a bit different im finding.
Cheers,

Sorry if this has already been said but I bought Next Define in the sales without smelling a tester (never had a Next perfume I didn't like so this is fine for me!), and discovered it smells exactly like Armani 'For Her' (the one in the gold tube).
Great because that's one of my favourites, but a bit annoying since I just bought a bottle of Armani too in the Boots sales thinking I'd got a bargain when I'd been missing this the whole time!
Thanks so much for this. I LOVE Nexts define and have been looking on there to see if they have a copy but to no avial, i can try this now. Thanks again
Edit: realised now you mean nexts smells like armarni not that they have a copy on perfume parlour! Sigh..does anyone know of one that smells like the next one?

Well, as Define is a copy of Emporio Armani then getting the Emporio Armani copy (Employ Army) from Perfume Parlour should do it for you?0 -
