    Thanks for this thread :-).

I like to wear a bit of fragrance when i go to bed but ive run out of my usual nice but cheap fragrance. My Estee Lauder is too expensive to wear use every day so ive gone without my usual squirt at bedtime for some weeks now so this thread has come at the right time for me.

I must say i didnt particularly find the site easy to navigate (but thats probably me being thick) but ive sussed it out now.

    Ive ordered :

    Shalimar (Express)
    Flowerbomb (Warmth)
    Youth Dew (Young)

For my daughter to try out ive ordered :

    Ultraviolet (Canter)
    Hugo Boss Orange (Clarity)

    I ordered the roller concentrates

At least ive got a selection now and it hasnt cost me a fortune and i really missed going to bed smelling like a perfume factory. :D

Judi, it would not do for us all to like the same things but Youth Dew? Really? Not my cup of tea or spritz of perfume at all!

I'll be honest, Youth Dew is the only fragrance that lasts on me all day and ive tried loads. I dont dislike it, hubby likes it so i replace it when i run out.

I'm looking forward to a change though.
  • Ladies I really, really need some help please!

I have been a user of the perfume parlour oils for a few years now, iinfact I have posted in this thread a few years ago on my old user name...

Anyways I have got myself into a bit of a conundrum! Basically I seem to be forever searching for my signature scent and am always buying perfumes unsniffed off the net.

Recently I read about Gloria by Cacherel, which alas is disccontinued. Found it on the perfume parlour and order the oil, loevly but I wasn't convinced that it matched all the notes (however tbh I am not the best at these things). I am sooo close to ordering a bottle of Gloria from Ebay but its £85 for 30ml. Has any of you ladies smelled the real thing and can give me a comparison of the real thing v the perfume parlour oil/spray?! I'd be forever grateful xx

They have the name which is given to them by Perfume Parlour on them. For example, Miss Dior Cherie would be labelled "Charm". I must admit to writing the name of the real thing on the bottles so that I know what I am putting on.

I do this too, I have a sheet of little stickers. I have so many it would take forever to find the one I was looking for! :o

I haven't had any for a while, but I'm thinking of getting some new ones for springtime. I think the last ones I had for myself were:

Tom Ford Black Orchid (this was a blind buy, I'd been eyeing it up on Fragrantica, and as even a sample vial is hideously expensive I got the oil, I like it a lot, but it is quite strong)
    :D

must must try this! :ji love black orchid, in fact i love most tom ford but so expensive:(

Off the top of my head PP also do Tobacco Vanille and White Patchouli from Tom Ford.
Isn't it brilliant to have a Tom Ford for £2 ish :j
  • I love, love, love my perfume oils from Perfume Parlour. I have never had as many comments about how I smell (in a lovely way :rotfl:) than I have with these, not even with expensive originals:j

I have loads:o but I get most comments about JPG original, lady million and flowerbomb. I've got more that I love but they're the ones that get the most 'ohhhhhhhhhhh you smell lovely'
