  • Hi Naughtyneighbour...

    From what I can see...
A medium portion of Boiled potatoes (100g) is 1 POINT
A medium portion of White Rice (150g cooked/60g dried) is 3 POINTS

  • thanks merri

tbh ive just been buying the WW ready meals mostly...cant trust myself to portion control otherwise lol...but it is becoming expensive so am gonna start introducing 'normal' meals maybe once or twice a week...am using WW sausages tonight...a packet casserole mix ( cant see there being many points in that ?)and a tin of new potatoes...share between me n ' the bloke'...just gonna have to try n make mine a small portion :)

    NN

ps. a list of the points values of ' normal' everyday foods would be great if you dont mind :)
  • As there are LOADS and LOADS of items, if you want to write me a shopping list of what you want the points of, I will post the POINTS values for them :p

I expect you know that most veg is 'nil points' ... there are a few exceptions such as:
    Sweetcorn 2 tblsp 0.5 POINTS
    Parsnip Medium 1 POINT
Baked Beans (Small 205g tin) 2 POINTS

You can make 0 POINT Carrot and Ginger Soup which is good as a snack if you like that kind of thing. Is just carrots, stock, grated ginger and ground pepper - cook til carrots are soft and whiz in the blender...

  • not really a soup kinda girl...an def not a veg kinda girl lol...my weakness is spuds...in any shape or form...really missing shepherds pie....so the points value of mince beef would be good...and the tatties of course :)

ill post more as i think of them...ty
