Hi!
I have seen a Slimming World DFW group, but is there a weight watchers group or anyone who would be interested in the points plan? I went for a while but cannot afford it now, and with 4 stones to loose, I need to get something done.
Exercise went out the window after surgery, but I need motivation... :j and I think a group of us can give each other the boost we need.
I have lots of the cookbooks though if people want recipes etc.
I also have a point calculator and the formulas for calculating points.

I desperately need to lost some weight (could kick myself, got down to goal through WW in 2003 after losing 5 and a half stone), so can I join the group too?We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Hi can I join a ww group? I've got around 5 stones to lose and aswith Sophie27, I have a monthly pass (ashamed to say I've not even been weighed in around 3weeks).
Don't know about any other DFW's, I've got the cookbooks but find it's really expensive to actually buy ingredients and then I get so fed up with the preparation that I phone a takesaway (why I've got 26k of debt to lose too)
Maybe some other ww dfws can help??NSD November 1/20 :money:

Hi Sophie27, SingleSue and davek1 (again
) )
I must admit to having eaten nearly a whole pack of iced buns today so, yeap, I have really got to do something about this! I just think that the meetings are sooooo expensive. I reckon I have 5 stone to loose as I am 5'3 and weigh 15 stones now.... eek! I put on 4 stones in two years!Debt as of 20th Aug 2009 -£6600 and falling :j0 -
Catchooky, I have some of the quick and easy Weight Watchers books if you want some easy recipes...
I have a dairy intolerance so I am happy to help people with altering recipes too, if it helps anyone.Debt as of 20th Aug 2009 -£6600 and falling :j0 -

I have not been in absolutely ages. Keep cancelling and then applying for monthly pass again. How about we add our goal weight, mini targets etc to our signatures to keep ourselves motivated? I have lots of the cookbooks and made a few things. Some of the soups are gorgeous and v low points. I make loads then freeze so if I get in late from work and hand is hovvering over phone to order a takeaway, I have stuff in freezer to quickly heat up.It Will be Mine.............ITV Cash Win, Ipod Touch & Spa BreakI have the comping bug!0 -
merri-drake, thanks but i'm ashamed to say its purely laziness - the extent of my cooking seems to be a runny omelette or boiling some pasta. I keep telling myself I should learn but it just seems like such a slog. I occassionally bake ww cakes and that goes ok, but cooking a proper meal seems out of my reach. 3wks ago, I attempted to make beef stew and yorkie puds, messed up the yorkies but my fab family insisted on eating them anyway, which really peed off the on-call doctor as he had to get called in to a house of vomiting people!!!NSD November 1/20 :money:

Well, like I said, I presently am 15 stones - I put on 4 stone since april 2006 when I found out I needed major surgery.
I guess my goal at first is to get back into my size 16 trousers:T (I think 1 stone should take care of that)
I have a recipe for carrot and ginger soup that is 0 points and really scrummy and easy if anyone wants it.Debt as of 20th Aug 2009 -£6600 and falling :j0
