Hi everyone! Can I join in please?
Am not currently going to WW meetings as am debt-clearing and every penny counts, but am seeing a nurse at my local GP's for support and weigh-ins (it's free!). Would love support and weight chats on DFW!
My starting weight last year was 19st 10 (!) and at 5'6" it was not good...! My current weight is 17st 4 and the weight is coming off slowly. Too slowly for my liking, but it's a loss! I weigh in tomorrow (mondays), so will update sig and let you know!
My goal weight is 9st 10, it'll take some time, but if I manage it then I will be able to say I've lost 10 stone - 140 lbs!
My daily diet at the moment is:
Breakfast - Porridge with skimmed milk and a few sultanas or chopped banana.
Lunch - Low-fat/low-calorie Soup.
Dinner - Meat or fish with salad or vegetables.
Snacks - Fruit, no-sugar squash, tea with skimmed milk, water.
I walk 40 mins each day taking my daughter to school - 10mins there and back, twice a day. On the weekends as a family we are going for walks more and the kids can play on their bikes. The thought of the gym doesn't appeal at all (!), but I might start swimming soon...!
That's all for now! x0 -
PP4 well done on your weight loss so far you are doing really well
I stopped going to meetings too as couldn't justify the expense whilst debt busting. Luckily my lovely mum has agreed to pay for me to do it online then I am just weighing myself every Saturday morning.
Good luck with weigh in tomorrow.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

I have been attending weight watchers now for about 5 months. I have lost 1st 4 (I think) at this moment in time. I put on 3.5lb over xmas but lost a pound last week so only 2.5lb to go before I loose my xmas weight :j . I am on the monthly pass (not very MSE I know - but more so than going to the meetings and paying full price I suppose!). I need the encouragement of staying to meetings or else I just can't stick with the programme. If anyone needs any help with points or anything - just shout. Also a member of the e-source so this also lists points for loads of things.
If anyone wants to attend but can't afford it - I used to volunteer to help out at the meetings, either with weighing or the shop and this means you get to be weighed etc for free :j . My friend is currently becoming a leader and when she gets her own meetings, I will go and help her so will save myself £19.00 per month!
I have a DD who is 4 and most of my weight was put on when I became pregnant. I gave up smoking immediately when I found out so this combined with pregnancy and my body hasn't been the same since!I would like to lose about another 1st 4 which would take me down to about 10 and a half stone. I am 5ft 8 so carry it off relatively well but my joints hurt in my knees and my hips and I would like to be a size 12 (or a 10 but I doubt I will manage that!).

Well i've just turned down chocolate  .
Wasn't sure what to do today, so decided to go into town, went to my gym, i've got a years membership for one of the those 30min workout ladies only gym. I must say when you can make your 3-4 sessions a week you do see results. I got chosen for 6mths free last year and i did really, didn't loose any weight but tonned up my muscles and the inch loss was good, i then got offered a big discount to sign up for a year. Became a bit slack at going the nearer it got to xmas.
But back on track with it now and then obviously decided i needed to combine it with weight loss.
So did that and then went to blockbuster, got some dvds out etc. OH chose malteasers to have when we watch the dvds, i first picked up a bag of m/m's, but put it back and went for a bag of pretzels.
Aslo going on my wii fit today, i only got it on Fri and i love it, its fab, im loving the skiing.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
I am loving the wii fit too. Haven't got skiing though yet. Is it a game you unlocked from the original disc or did you buy another one?Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Hi everyone
well weighed in this morning and I have lost 3lb :j Thats a total loss of 5lb for me. I am so chuffed because I set myself a target of 4lb's by 25.1.09 so now my new target is 4lb by 8.2.09. I am setting small targets as I also go to the gym and use weights to tone up. I know this can add lbs as muscle weighs heavy than fat and all that, but I still have fat to lose too!!! My weight loss always tends to slow down as I get further into my[STRIKE]diet......[/STRIKE] em healthy eating.Well hope everyone is still motivated and sticking to their points.

Skiing is in the balance games - from memory it was one of the games that should already be on there when you start, you can unlock a more advanced level.
I have to say I love my wii fit - I only like the aerobic and balance games though - the yoga and exercises seem too much like hard workOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Oh right I'll have to go and have a nose at that then. I am only really doing the step ones at the moment but they are too short. Hoping I can unlock some longer ones as I use it more.
I tried the yoga but to be honest I didn't really enjoy it lol. I did a jog as well but that nearly killed me :rotfl:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Hi, Can I join too?
I did weight watchers a while ago but have put all the weight back on. I can't tell you off hand how much I weigh but I know its not good! When I have built up the courage later to step on the scales I will update!
Last time I checked I was about 17 stone so want to lose about 5 stone and get down to 12 stone. I am about 5ft 10in
Can anyone remind me how you know how many points you are allowed in one day? Also any ideas for good things to take to work for lunch that don't take ages to prepare?
Thanks0
