Well Done and please do not push yourself too hard.:A
Anything that you can feel good about doing and that makes you feel bettter is more important than just tackling a huge list of "stuff" for the sake of it.
I had a day where I seemed to do nothing but cook - but everything was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed.
If only my pile of ironing could be cleared in 4 hours - I reckon it will take at least 8
I know what you're saying hun and I really should take it a step at a time, but I've always wanted to run before I can walk which is half my problem
I should know by now that these things never resolve themselves overnight and it's only by making slow steady progress that I can even hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel. My main aim is to have more good days than bad days within a week, and today has been a good day so far
Ironing???? ... what's that?

Saying that, I'm going to have to dust off the iron to do DS's uniform at some point this week as he's back to school next Monday

Ach, you don't actually believe them do you???Curry_Queen wrote:reading what everyone is managing to achieve in a day can be rather depressing
I know for a fact that at least 2 posters on the OS board talk rubbish. They're just keeping up with the Jones - they're pretending to be housekeeper of the year material but they're really sitting in their jammies and knocking back the coffee. :rotfl: Sad but true.
Just you hang out with the rest of us normal mortals who think ironing is a swear word and dust bunnies should actually be fed.
You'll be fine and dandy then. Herman - MP for all!

Maybe we should start a splinter group!
Mottos like "Life is too short to dust"
"A spotless home is a wasted life"
I was going to put "Up the workers" but I suppose "Power to the untidy" does not have the same ring.
I always liked the saying that "My house is just clean enough to be healthy and just dirty enough to be happy". In that case - boy are we happy!

I get intimidated by the amount that some people get through in a day as well - I know that I could not do that in a week!!!"This site is addictive!"

Thanks for the motto - I may use that to convince my four daughters that I am not boring - so there!
Mature and sophisticated arguements abound in our house- can't you tell?;)"This site is addictive!"

 We can't be having that on my first day back in here!
 Ok, to get back on topic
... my number one pledge is to be as happy as possible each day, so if that means spending all day posting on here then so be it :rotfl: "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Now you're getting the hang of it! See......it's easy!

Now, you'll have to excuse me whilst I try to carry out my pledge about not having an overflowing washing basket.
