  • thanks for all the comments about the cheapest sat nav

Can anyone tell me where I can get a Garmin street pilot c 320 for less than £350?

Why do all the main retailers hover around the same price? Are they all working together?
  • Comet have the Acer N35 PDA w/ built-in GPS for £232 - slightly cheaper than Ebuyer, and with free delivery:

Plus there's 3% cashback at Quidco.

I've just ordered one of these. I like the fact that it's a PDA too, not just a satnav unit, and I can upgrade or change the software later.

The cheapest C320 (with free P&P) can be found online through Dixons using a £25 discount code - see here. The price fluctuates daily and currently stands at £338.72

Unless you really need European street-level mapping included, you may want to consider the new Garmin Street Pilot C310 - available in the UK any day now! This shares the same 3.5" (diagonal), 64K colour touch-screen as the Garmin C320 and C330 models. Its advantage, however, is that it will have post-code mapping and support 3rd party POI data which the current C320 and C330 models do not have. Obviously to keep costs low, Garmin have had to economise elsewhere - this they have done by only providing street level UK & Ireland maps with the C310. The C310 will still have a basemap of the whole of Western Europe to allow navigation through major roads, but if you want street-level mapping in any European country outside of UK & Ireland you will need to purchase a separate SD card with preloaded maps. (This contrasts with the C320 which had preloaded UK & Ireland maps, but also came with a CD-ROM of European streetmaps). The cheapest price for the Garmin C310 at the moment is £299.99 plus £6.99 P&P through www.caraudiodirect.co.uk

Just found this - Free Sweeties!!!

Its staggering the amount of sat navs out there. Two I've seen recommended are the Garmin Streetpilot i3 and the Tom Tom GO 300

Can anyone give me a heads up on which might be the best for me / any problems

Just need it in the UK / north west - easy use, know postcodes and places of interests such as famous shopping centres.

    Thanks in advance

This system last retailed at Argos for £299.99 so this offer is a useful £50 off. Sports a 3.5" colour touch-screen, Nav Tech UK maps pre-loaded and rest of Western Europe on CD-ROM, it has post-code mapping and POI. Sounds like it's fully featured, but I can't find any reviews of how it performs in practice. Anyone got one of these who'd like to comment?

I saw a Lexibook navigator go for £50 on Bid tv today, but have seen it go for £40 on its sister channel SpeedAuction TV. Hope this is any help.

    Hi all

I already have an iPaq - does anyone know the best option to add satnav to that, as I don't really want to buy another piece of kit.

    Thanks, jd

I have a TOM TOM add-on that I got from Ebay very cheap.
  • How do you get your ipaq to see and use your road angel gps?
  • Is there a Tom Tom system for the P900?
  • Yes you can - its called City Select Europe V7, but I can't tell you where you would get it .
