Cleosmum, I think this type of thread does often slow down a bit after the initial flurry of excitement, but we have 19 members actively weighing in, and probably others who haven't quite got round to it yet, so I hope we will be able to keep up some momentum.

Maybe a mini challenge or something, to help us on our way. What about a slimmer of the week, or something like that? Something to keep us focussed and give us something to aim for.

Hey great idea Mrs S and I think Im gonna join in as I have a stone or so to shed. And I totally agree with you Mrs S about feeling good. As Ive said before people can sometimes get blinded by targets and how much one 'should' lose. We all have a weight that we are comfortable with and it is that we should aim for. My ideal weight according to charts for a medium built 5ft 5.5 inch man is 9.5 stone. Ive never been 9.5 stone (well I passed though it once). In actual fact 11.5 stone is my ideal weight, anymore is too little and honesttly anyhting overr 12Stone is too much. I feel good when Im trimmer for lots of reasons. Check me out. Oh are blokes allowed to take part? Len

Hi Len, do you want me to add you to our spreadsheet? Is 11st 5lbs your target? If you want me to add starting weight etc, just let me know what it is. The spreadsheet is HERE.

Yes please Mrs S, it would motivate me to keep going something to aim for. Im not sure how the old red green, syn non syn thing works TBH. My current weight is 80KGs. Fanks. So should I post what I eat etc every day with weekly weigh-ins?
