well ive slid down the slippery slope this weekend. trying to keep the kids amused has cost money and syns and lots of both. its hard work this single parent lark and i know i shouldnt have to spend money on them to keep them happy but it hasnt been a week yet since he left and i wanted to show them we could have a good time on our own, ive also told them it wont be a regular thing either, they have enjoyed themselves and as (another) treat tomorrow i am taking them to the big market then out for tea and that will be the end of the bank holiday weekend. so heres getting back on the straight and narrow from Tuesday...
welcome Len we are a great bunch on here youll love it...DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
I'll put it down as 12st 8lbs Lenny - the spreadsheet adds up the overall weight lost, so it all has to be in lbs, sorry hun. If I was much cleverer, I would make it convert it automatically.....but I'm not!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hi Lenny, welcome to the thread
Well, after feeling sorry for myself earlier, I went rooting through my drawer of small clothes - and found a pair of small size 14 jeans that I havent worn for about 18 months, they fit luvverly, so I am feeling all spurred on again now! I bought 3 size 12 tops in Tesco today (20% off and had a voucher) but not tried them on yet  and I also found at the bottom of the drawer was about £3 worth of 1p and 2p, gawd knows what they were doing there lol.
Right I am off to eat my dinner - chicken in tomato and basil sauce with broc and carrots, have chopped fresh fruit and yog for afters and tonight I have really treated myself....reduced celery and a pot of fat free cottage cheese :j0 -
