    well done wannabefree!!

Anyway, I had left a braising steak chilli in the SC and when we got back I did some rice and had a really small plate of it (and only 1 b choice in meat, I weighed just 1 piece) so I'm really not fazed by going over yesterday.

Keren, this sounds yummy! I've just bought a slow cooker but haven't a clue what to do with it :o I don't have a clue where to start! Do you think you would be able to post the recipe for this (pretty, pretty please with splenda on top!)

hi mancbird, I just kind of made it up, but this is what I did

1 leek sliced (you could use onions)
braising steak (weighed if on a green day - mine was big slabs so I cut each into 3, made it easier)
    garlic
    chilli powder
    tin of tomatoes
    1 red pepper, chopped
    smoked paprika (optional)
1 tin kidney beans (I used cannellini, any kind is fine)
    1 tin baked beans
I also added some chopped potato as I had a few manky ones needing using up!

chuck everything apart from the baked beans and kidney beans in the SC and put it on low all day. After about 5 hours, add the kidney beans. One hour before you want to eat, add the baked beans.

I served it with rice and a big dollop of low fat fromage frais.

    It was yum!

Well done Coolmum and Jennyred, doing great!

    Today I have had:
    Breakfast
2 weetabix (HEB) with 250ml semi skimmed milk (HEA)

    Snack:
    Satsuma and a banana

    Lunch
egg salad with marie rose sauce (4 syns)
    Coke zero

    Dinner
Large steak with spinach, cucumber, tom, spring onion, fat free italian salad dressing. Had to cheat with my 2nd HEA as I didnt have enough feta for 42g or enough extra light laughing cows, so I compromised and had 21g of feta and 2 extra light laughing cows.

Been for a really long walk before lunch and my metabolism has really kicked in today. OH and the kids had icecream after the walk, I did not :A:rotfl:

Right I want some of this and although today I havent started I havent been too naughty today. I weighed myself after breakfast, cheerios, alpen and chopped up bannana with FF milk. I weighed myself before I went to the toilet and was 80.3 and when I came off I was 79.6. For lunch I had brown bread with chocolate spread and for tea I had chips, chicken, sweetcorn and a carrot, tomato and cucumber salad with a yoghurt for duff. For me that is less than what i normally eat so its a start. Ive been bidding ebay for the SW starter pack but dont really wanna bid more than £8. When i get them thats when i will start. I am going for runs (nice slow fat burning ones) in the morning before work. Its hard to get up at 0600 but you feel so much better for it.
