What about doing a couple of success express days to pull it back? I know its not everyones cup of tea but if you know how to do them then it might be worth it.
What are they Cleosmum? Are they something new?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

forgot to say I also fell off my wedges and sprained my ankle so im down on exercise too, its strapped up.
Ive made a right show of myself in front of people I havnt seen for 20yrs, but I think they were all too drunk to notice.0 -
Thanks Cleo, hey that sounds good but dont know if i would be brave enough to go to SW.
Lenny the groups are great and if you dont feel up to going then maybe ring your nearest consultant and ask if you can just pop in for the pack and tell them you want to do it from home to see how it goes. If I could buy a pack on your behalf then I would but unfortunately the consultants arent allowed to do that.
Bunny, I have offered to get Sarah some books, so shout if I can help, but unfortunately I cant get the starter pack.0 -

They came in a couple of years ago (along with mix2max), but many people find it too hard to get their head round and never bother. I didnt bother last time as I didnt really understand it, but now I do I'm not sure why I didnt get it lol. In a nutshell: You have 3 meals which have 2/3 to 1/3 ratio. 2/3 come from the superfree food section (of the pack) and the 1/3 can be red, green or both. You fill up on superfree foods between meals and any syns are at the highest amount (so if something is 1 syn on green and 13 on red then you would count it at 13 syns). You have your HE as usual. I often have 1/3 chicken/beef and 2/3 various superfree veg, but you could have 1/3 chicken/beef and new potatoes with 2/3 superfree veg. Only trouble with that is the potatoes reduce the amount of meat and thats no good for me lol.
Hope that makes sense?!0 -
It does, thanks Cleosmum :T
I really need to re-read my starter pack. I think I might take it to bed with me :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hi Lenny,
Those first steps through the door can be really nerve wracking but you're not on your own. Every person in the room (including the Consultant!) has felt the same way as you're feeling now. I'm a Slimming World Consultant and I do everything I possibly can to help people feel at ease at the meeting. Your local group's Consultant will do the same too - you should be able to find a number for him / her on the website. If you give them a ring, they'll be able to talk to you about the things you're worried about and hopefully put you at ease. Also, if you go to class, you will get the Consultant who will go throught the plan with you and make sure you've "got your head round it"!
Hope this helps,

Everything was going well then I went to a high school reunion on Saturday night and drunk my own body weight in wine.Got home at 4am, up at 7am to do a car boot sale didnt have breakfast had about 5 macdonalds fries and a bite of a chicken sandwhich.Threw up all day, felt a bit better and had a roast chicken dinner at mums followed by a slice of cheesecake.
Later on when the hangover calmed down I had 2 cheese sandwhiches (on nimble bread) a bag of sunlights and a tiny animal bar.
Ive blown it havnt I? I should have stayed at home.
Was also fed up as OH wasnt talking to me for staying out so late and getting so very pished.
Was good today but im really angry with myself.
Don't be hard on yourself - it's only one "blip". Draw a line under it and get yourself focused for the week aheadMammy to 2 boys aged 5 and 20 -
