Pasta sauce thingy was yummy! Just whacked some passata, onions, mushrooms, cumin and chilli powder in a pan and served over the pasta. I think that it may have been nicer with chopped toms so might try that next time methinks!
I have a real bean 'phobia' and cannot eat any form of bean...the thought of having to eat one makes me feel really ill....it is crazy! Cannot explain it...maybe it is the texture? I am silly like that sometimes!
I keep on forgetting about perhaps having some meat as a HEb choice, getting used to having ryvitas at work that's why! Will have to relook at weekends, especially as I am at home and always hungry!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
how about making a mixed chilli bean soup and blitzing it?? Then you'd see if it was the taste rather than the texture.
There are loads - maybe try a 'little' one like aduki?

That's a great idea! Never thought of that! Might give that a go then!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
I fry off onions, add garlic, the beans, tinned tomatoes, dried herbs and chilli or chilli powder. Cook it for about 15 minutes, blitz and serve with a big blob of free fromage frais in the middle.
