You're welcome to pm your starting weight if you like, or if you prefer, just pm me how much you lose each week.

  • Cor it's getting really serious on here. Will weigh in and pm you losses after a week.(if there is any)
I reckon this will be far better than sw groups and far more motivating.

Okay, I've printed the 7 day free trial from the SW website. Am stuffed re breakfast tomorrow. I don't have any 'surprisingly succulent quorn sausages' in at the moment... can't I just have weetabix?

(and there's no way I'm eating mackerel for breakfast on day 2 *insert vomiting smilie of your choice*)

snaggles - I am purging homemade quiche, toast and mini cheddars because I have run out of biscuits. :o

  • You can have two weetabix as a healthy B choice for breakfast. Just tweek the diet to how you want it.

    Think I need this too!
I was going to bite the bullet & go back to WW & pay - so now I'm off to research SW.
Like a few peeps I've no understanding of the reds & greens so any help gratefully received.

£5 will go off ccs each week so I am serious about this

Being slim must be a cheaper option ..'cos you won't need as much body lotion each day!!!

superpup - you can have as much 'free' food on either a red or green day.

On top of this you have 2 'a' choices and 2 'b choices plus 5-15 'syns' depending on how much you want to lose - probably starting with 10 is a good way to go.

a and b choices are things like milk, cheese, bread, cereals, dried fruit and meat and poultry if you are on a red day. there are also some soups, cereal bars and other bits on the lists - they are long lists. I usually use my b choices as chicken or pork if i'm on a green day - 8 ounces chicken or 8 ounces lean pork is 2 b choices.

I've got some pdf's you can have of green day choices or choices you can have on either red or green. PM me your email addy and I'll send them to you.

No folks, I'm not raiding the biscuit barrel, OH did one of his 'couldn't sleep' routines and woke me opening and closing the door having his fags ( as quiet as a dancing rhino:rolleyes: ) and then swooshing around in his rain coat before clearing off:rolleyes: . BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I shouted as he close the door knowing he would hear me through the open bedroom window!!:rotfl:

i've got a cup of strawberry tea. I've added some sugar, 2 syns worth as Idon't have any sweetener. Must pop and get some later.

I'm going to have another Green day today. The plan is:

mullerlight, banana and grapes for breakfast
Batchelors pasta n sauce for lunch
chicken, chick pea and potato curry for dinner with rice.

then if I still fancy something, I've got some jacket potatoes in the cupboard I can chuck in the microwave, beans and mozzarella.

Have to say, I hardly ate any of the paella last night - it was lovely, but I was so full from gorging earlier. And, erm, the 'effects' of a green day are rather evident!! (all that fibre:o )

I did a quick online shop yesterday and have some of my favourite green day foods coming this afternoon to snack on - more chicken and mushroom pasta n sauces, the Batchelor's Fat Free chicken and herb super noodles and some more quorn sausages.

I am going to spend some time over the weekend though looking through the lists as I am already (day 3!) just going back to my old foods I ate last time I did it and I'm determined not to get back in the same 'rut'. There are HUGE lists of stuff on the A and B choices and I want to try a few different things. I've ordered some raisin Optivita to have for breakfast (b choice) to try.

  • Weekly weigh ins on a Wednesday sounds good, then we'll all be in sync.... plus that gives me time to look for the books on eBay/Freecycle and sort out a meal plan from my free 7 day thingy..... Told OH about it last night, as he'd said last week that we both need to lose weight, and he looked at me all confused:confused: He did agreed to me walking to work where possible though (we only live 15 mins walk from home, but he has a bit of a thing about me walking to work:confused: ).....

I'm off to cram as much carp in over the weekend, ready for the start on Monday..... (Never done a proper diet before!)
