Hey everyone, not doing the old green and red thingy because personally I just need to exercise to lose weight, always have done always will do, trouble is I cannot get motivated. Good luck to you all and here's something i came across today which might help you:
Dont conentrate on losing weight concentrate on getting to a weight that you are comfortable with. Surround yourself with pictures of yourself on which you look good, Ask and you shall get, Believe you can attain a weight that you feel comfortable with and you will receive. Whatever that weight may be remember that you should treasure every last square inch of your body as you are truly beautiful; your body is the greatest instrument you will ever own use it every way you can.. Feel good about yourself and your body will feel good towards you. Visualise you now as you want to be (how you used to be) and surely as you believe you can make it, you will become it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. oooh, I'm stuffed now. I'd only eaten a yoghurt, banana and some grapes up to 3pm so I had quorn sausages and beans with mozzarella on (free plus and 'a' choice) and I've just had a Batchelors Chicken and Mushroom pasta and sauce (free on green) made with 'a' choice milk.
Yum! (but oinky in less than 3 hours!)
Chicken paella tonight. The chicken will be my b choices so I won't have had any syns today. I'm going to look up though what a tin of peaches is so I can have them if OH wants icecream later.
Edit: 6.5 syns for the whole tin - not sure I could manage a whole tin, but I might well have half a tin with a muller light!"Stay Wonky":D

Hello everyone! Count me in! I used to do SW years back and then have yo-yo'd up and down ever since! A year and a half ago I managed to apply the same principles and lost over 4 stone...but have since put on about a stone and a half so really want to sort it out...especially with the summer coming up! I have so many clothes I cannot wear due to the extra bit f weight, so I want rid! I will start tomorrow!
I usually get the magazine and have a few recipes that I use...one of my fav's is called curry in a hurry and I usually swop the chicken for quorn pieces and have it with rice so it should be near enough free I think...I will go and find the recipe and post it on here! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Quorn sausage and beans is free??? OMG I love this diet!!!
it is on a green day Snaggles!
Also free (in the same 'vein')
quorn sausages and eggs (I fry mine in Frylight)
quorn sausages and mushy peas
quorn sausages, SW chips and beans!!
SW chips - chip potatoes, par boil for 5 minutes, drain and put on a tray and spray with Frylight (or one of the spray oils) and pop in oven for about 20 minutes or so.
yummmmmmmmmm!!!! :T
I've also just seen a recipe for (green day) free rice pudding on the SW support thread on MSE. It's page 100 of the thread. Might well have to have a go at that at some point!!!

Hey....have I missed something? Has everyone started without me? I was waiting for "ready......steady......GO". Is everyone just doing their own thing then and all weighing in on different days?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Here it is....Curry in a hurry....but I leave out the carrot and the cabbage and swop them for mushrooms and sweet potato as I much prefer them!!! I also don't bother to blend it and if I think it may not be enough sauce, I add a bit of passatta to it. I then fling in the quorn and leave it all cooking, adding in the yogurt/frais stuff at the end. I have also made this with dried herbs as well as fresh and tasted fine both times! If using dried I tend to add them earlier on in the cooking! I think you are meant to blend it all then add to the meat but mine always turns out fine! Right I will shut up now!
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
2 grated carrots
Half a cabbage
1 tsp finely grated ginger
1 tbsp hot or medium curry powder
400g tin chopped tomatoes
60ml vegetable stock
2 tbsp sweetener
60g natural yoghurt or Quark/fromage frais
1 tbsp chopped mint
1 tbsp chopped coriander Chop the onions and crush the garlic. Spray a frying pan with Fry Light and place on heat - add the vegetables, onion, garlic, and ginger and fry for one to two minutes before adding curry powder.
Stir and cook for another couple of minutes then add tomatoes, sweetener and stock. Bring to the boil and reduce heat to simmer gently for 12-15 minutes.
Blitz the sauce in a food processor or with a hand blender, and return to heat. Heat gently then add quark/yoghurt/fromage frais and herbs.:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
I haven't started yet Suzy - starting tomorrow I think, although I need to come up with a lunch that I can take to work that doesn't need a lot of preparation."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
