If it's not in the book as a 'healthy extra' you can't have it. If you go on the intranet site, you can input info in there and if it allowed as a HE, you will found out there-and in the magazines, they list new things that are 'NEW' H/E.
Does that make sense?Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Hey! I didnt know you lot had started already. I was planning to start on Sunday as I am on a girlie night out on Saturday so on Sunday I wont feel like eating much:rotfl:
I have a fab recipe for a butternut squash risotto somewhere and it really fills you up.
I will have to get myelf some decent scales as with mine at the moment it just depends on which part of the bathroom floor you place them. In one part of the room I am a whole 3lb lighter:rotfl:
Anyone got a list of free snack food? But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Don't know if it is of any interest, but if you go to tesco.com and sign up on their healthy living tracker, you get fab graphs and things of your weight loss that you can see when you weigh in each week!
There is also a food tracking diary thingy as well which you may (or may not) find useful!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi all!!
Well, after being [STRIKE]coerced[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]sat on[/STRIKE], encouragedby Bunny, I've also started SW.
I weighed in on Wednesday evening. The good news is that I've only put on 2 pounds in the last month after coming back of my holiday (even with all the Easter chocolate!) and I know I was the previous weight at the beginning of January so I have 'stabilised'. However, the bad news is (as if I didn't know!) is that I have a HUGE amount to lose. I have 2 wardrobes full of a very wide range of sizes and I wear a tiny fraction of them. I also have clothes in a drawer, on shelves in the wardrobe and in a drawer under the bed. Loads I've never worn because I bought them last time 'to slim into'.(bought from Ebay or charity shops though, so all bought on the cheap!)
I lost 4.5 stone in 2004/2005 with SW over a 6 month period (althought I would have had another 4.5 stone to go!) and then it all went back on plus another 1.5 stone when I had all the problems at work. I am definitely the biggest (by a stone or so) that I've ever been and I am, to be honest, pretty appalling looking physically.
Anyhow, I've dug out my old books from when I was in class last time, I've still got some old magazines, I'm not going to class but I have been PM'd the word for the online site and I'm going to see if I still have a couple of Word documents that are red and green main meals. I've even got the Fast Forward book somewhere, but that is only for dire plateau situations!!!
Good luck everyone.
I'm not going to say 'I want to lose x stone by x date' because I don't want to set myself up for a fall. All I'll say is 'today, I'm having a green day' and take it each day at a time."Stay Wonky":D

Hi Coolmum,
Welcome. The best thing I can offer is see if you can buy the books off eBay or something?
It is a great 'diet' although, tbh, I think of it as more of a life change thing.
I feel much happier, healthyier and in control when Im doing SW.
