Well done spat - that's fab news!!:j :T And a bit of a blow out at your birthday is not only allowed - it's pretty much compulsory!! ;)

We've got a big valentines night planned (although on the 13th since OH is working the 14th!) - So I think I'll use that as my next target to get a few more of these lbs shifted!! Every little goal helps - in my case at least!!

    Hi there,

Thank you for the pancake recipe Marion - that's great. And thanks for coming back to me so quickly. I might do some experimenting tonight....... :-)

Thank you to all for their friendly welcomes - i feel like part of the group already!

Well,l today (extra easy) i have had nestle clusters and SS milk for breakfast (HEA and HEB), mullerlight then some smoked salmon for a snack (free) (a bit odd i know, but they need using in the fridge) and have pasta bolognaise for lunch (free). Might have a bit of LF cheese on top as syns. Tea will be leftover pork shoulder with something (maybe mash, sweetcorn and gravy).

I've had a few giant chocolate buttons as well - does anyone know what the syns are for them?

Also, just a tip in case anyone hasn't tried it - the 'cathedral city lighter' cheddar is very nice and doesn't taste like low fat cheese - much better than all the other LF cheeses i have tried. Its often on offer in one of the supermarkets too.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Ali x

PS well done Spat - that's great!

Crapwithmoney - you'll be Ok, a pound isn't much and will soon come off. Can you do any extra exercise this week? I've found walking the dog really helps!

    hi all!

Spud - is it quorn mince? If so, just google a normal moussaka recipe and substitute the quorn. You'll need to HE/syn the sauce a bit.

    My food for today:

    b: muller and 2 bananas
l: SW wedges and leftover chicken curry
d:slab of beef with red peppers, tomatoes and pasta

Yes hun, quorn mince. It's the sauce bit I'm stuck on. I was thinking about a couple of eggs, some vlf nat youghurt (or should it be fromage frais - I have both) and some HE cheese
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I think I am keeping Muller in business, wish I could take a picture of my fridge, I have 30 yoghurts in there :o

Its going to be an experimental week for me, bought some 0% Greek Yoghurt, Low Fat Fromage Frais, Quark, various herbs/spices (and a wee bit of blue cheese that I may try in the quark to make a dressing for a reduced steak I picked up along with a jacket spud Mmmm)

Don't think my WI will go well on Wednesday as its only really today I have had stuff in .. along with fact I did not say no to my OHs housemate when he waved a chocolate croissant under my nose this morning :o However have had rather a bit more body magic then normal helping my mum move out of her house :)

Good Luck to everyone on their WIs this week (if they are not cancelled due to snow)
  • Help!!!

I'm too scared to get on the scales and check what damage I have done over my last two weeks of over indulgence with DH

I will do it in the morning, I promise. I can't regret it too much as I have had such a lovely time with DH and we both love our food so we have had some fantastic meals out.

Today has been a bit of a picky day but I don't think that bad. Just had a quorny/lentil chilli thing and have done enough for the rest of the week so guess I'll be seeing lots more of it.
