Morning
I felt inspired last night and made the first recipe from one of the cook books I bought offf ebay gotta share it with you coz it was really yummy and great for an all day snack on a green day completely syn free which is even better!!!
curried chickpea patties
400g chick peasrinsed and drained
1 onion
7oz mashed potato
2tsp mild chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 egg
1tsp toasted coriander seeds (didn't have these and used ground coriander instead)
1tsp toasted cumin seeds crushed
2 tbp fresh mint leaves (i used 1tsp dried mint)
2 tbsp fresh copped coriander leaves
salt and peper to taste
fry light
what you do is boil potatoes toast seds, meanwhile put the chickpeas and onion in food pressor until ropughly mushed up then add all the spices and egg, whizz the processor again then add potatoe and coriander leaves whizz processor for short time. then the messy bit starts!
spray a few sprays of fry light onto baking tray mould patties into 12 balls and then flatten slightly so they form a fat burger shape ball thingy. pop in oven for approx 20-30mins
they are really lovely
have a great day

Morning all!!
Sorry I've been a bit AWOL the last few days (although there are so many of us superslimmers these days it's probably hard to keep track of who's here and who's not!) Things have gotten a wee bit messy in work the last few days - so I've been too busy to update!
I've not done too badly this week - had a slip up on Tuesday as had a Burger King - just about died when I realised how many syns were in them!! Worst of it was, I don't even like them that much, it was only because I was starving, and one of my friends at work had just had a bit of un unpleasant meeting with our boss - so since there wasn't anywhere else around that served food - we went there to eat and for her to offload her concerns! But in following the rules of Paul McKenna (thanks for that - I haven't had time to respond properly yet sorry!!), I didn't eat again 'til I was hungry - which happened to be the next day! So although I didn't eat the right food - at least I didn't over eat!
The rest of the week has gone ok anyway! So far, I've had a banana and some water, I'll pop home for lunch and prob have some poached egg and toast - and after that - well - who knows?
Have a good day everyone - and well done on all the phenomenal losses - you're all doing really well!!

Daily eating plan EE Morning everyone, didn't post yesterday as was at an aution freezing my butt off all day! Loads of tat for sale but did get a nice Lorna Bailey dog and some wine, didn't get the microwave which was new and boxed, but I am sure the final price was higher than it would be to buy in the shops! I dropped out before then though!:p
I was good and took a packed lunch with me and felt very virtuous when everyone else was buying hot sausages in rolls and bags of crisps from the tea corner:T
I am digressing though so here is my plan for today:
Breakfast - bacon and eggs (free) plus a satsuma and apple (free)
Lunch - Leftover bits from the fridge including a bit of chilli and a bit of pasta bake and a bit of soup. Will just mike the whole lot and pretend I got it off a hot buffet :rotfl::rotfl:(all free)
afternoon snack - a couple of alpen lights with my coffee (HEB & HEA is milk during the day in my drinks)
Dinner - again using up loads of almost empty bags of stuff but from the freezer this time! So will be putting into my Remoska - some frozen peas, frozen mushrooms, cooked and shredded frozen chicken, some bits of frozen chopped up ham, frozen pepper slices, frozen onion slices. Will add a couple mugs of water and a mug of long grain rice. Put iin soya sauce when its done and dish up to the family whilst pretending is is a recipe I got from a magazine.:D This will all be (free) however they will have some grated parmeson on theirs also. Actually I could too and syn it although it is Friday night and I may just have a glass of wine, will decide later!
This has turned into a bit of ramble hasn't it- sorry for the long post!
Love

wonders how many syns are in Ikea's famous Swedish meatballs:rotfl:
I survived going out with my Mum- we went to the Harvester and I was good and had chicken with the salad bar (no bread roll) and a jacket potato. I didn't even have the free icecream sundae that my Mum had a voucher for .£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
well, I can really recommend the lemon mousse terrine in the SW magazine this month. It sets perfectly and it makes 6 decent slices rather than the 4 at .5 syns!
