I have quite a bit of weight to loose myself (love to loose 10st but 8stone would be great) and I really hope that saggy skin doesn't happen, I'm now think I've got to moisturise my skin and exersize loads to make this not happen...am I right in thinking this as I haven't got a clue????

Whether or not you end up with loose skin depends on so many factors. Your age, your skin type and how fast you lose the weight all count! With WLS the weight is often lost very quickly and the skin doesn't have time to catch up (if you know what I mean).
If you lose your weight at a steady, healthy rate (as you would following Food Optimising) the chances of ending up with masses of loose skin are far less. Doing a little exercise will help, and as you get nearer to your target, you may well have the energy to do more strenuous work-outs - either way, you're doing your body a huge favour losing weight the sensible way, well done!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I would be a bit cautious with this as I'm almost sure it won't be free if blended. The tin of steak would normally be counted as a meal in itself (with the addition of veg etc) but as a gravy it will be added to a meal and therefore may well be counted as 'misuse of free food'.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Just wanted to highlight this post of Consultants

good news - on EE, you can have cheese as both your HE's - I use grated mozzarella, so can have twice as much if I don't have a HEB!
Just made the lemon mousse terrine on page 84 of the current SW mag. I'll let you know how it turns out. It's only .5 of a syn per portion (serves 4)."Stay Wonky":D

:T Well done everyone, you are all doing really fantastic :T
I have been ok meals wise, it is just the snacking and looking in the fridge I need to stop doing when I'm bored. Weigh in on Sunday morning so hopefully will see a loss.
I went rugby training on wednesday and swimming today, so hopefully that will give it a nudge.
The problem I have ahead is that I have friends coming over on Saturday for dinner, and there may be a bit of wine involved and also Corporal Cuddlepuss (DH) comes home on leave on Tuesday for two weeks and I just know that he is going to want to eat stuff which has been deprived of like takeaways and english breakfasts etc. I will be strong!Savings: £25000.00/£40000 by Jan 010 Weight: 9/14lbs by 15 May 09 Fitness: going ok0 -
My OH is away tonight and I'm having a really productive SW evening
I've got the lemon mousse in the fridge for the next 2 or 3 nights (0.5 per huge portion), I've got some weetabix cake in the oven - I'm doing it in muffin trays, so it will be 3.5 syns per cake (these are so I can take 2 to work) and I'm just about to cook a load of rice so I can do egg fried rice tomorrow."Stay Wonky":D

dont forget CP if you do EE you can have a full english breakfast consisting of
morrisons eat smart pork sausages (free)
bacon (free)
Egg fried in frylight(free)
beans (free)
Mushrooms fried in frylight(free)
wholemeal toast (HEB)
also if you go for Takeaways try to avoid pizza, that really is a no no, but chinese in a light sauce will be quite low in syns especially on EE as you can have a meat dish and rice n the same meal.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
Hi everyone
Had my first weigh in since returning to slimming world. I have lost 3 and a half pounds. Been gutted as when I first joined SW in 2007 I lost 5 pounds in the first week. Still, it's a start. Off to plan menu for the week and write shopping list for tomorrow!

Thanks Northernlass,
I just need to be organised and make sure I can have a healthier alternative to what he has. What I might do is book a really fab restaurant and go all out for one night and then I will have no excuses to be bad for the rest of the time.Savings: £25000.00/£40000 by Jan 010 Weight: 9/14lbs by 15 May 09 Fitness: going ok0 -
