Evening all - I have got weigh in tomorrow morning and I am not looking forward to it - expecting a small gain as I have eaten crap all week!

Meals have been fine but have got into the habit of picking again - must stop that!

Hope weigh in goes well tomorrow MIT x x

Well done Nic for your 6lb weight loss thats fantastic!!! Good luck to all of you that have your WI tomorrow.

Have decided that I will be starting classes possibly by end of month as its half price joining fee and if I pay for 5 weeks I get a week free, I will see how the pennies weigh up!!!

I've just watched a program on ITV about extreme slimmers... the people that the focumentary were amazing but have taken to dratic measures by having weight loss surgery they have all lost bundles and look amazing the only thing was that as they had lost oodles of weight all their skin went saggy and they have had to have further surgery to have the fat taken away which on one of the men was really gross - poor chap but he had lost an amazing 40 stone, did anyone else watch it?

it put me in a bit of a panic as I have quite a bit of weight to loose myself (love to loose 10st but 8stone would be great) and I really hope that saggy skin doesn't happen, I'm now think I've got to moisturise my skin and exersize loads to make this not happen...am I right in thinking this as I haven't got a clue????

catch up with you all later

Morning guys (welcome Spat08) and gals!
I'm feeling quite jaunty at the moment. I know I have had a terrible week, so I'm expecting to stay the same or gain, but b*gger it!
I start off beautifully, have a perfect breakfast, usually totally free!
Lunch is ALWAYS spot on. Be it red or green (havn't got as far as EE yet), I always stick to the plan.
It's when we're back from the school run it all starts going downhill. Why are my kids so horrible (to each other), that my stress levels hit the roof and I need to eat? It tends to kick in after dinner.
Dinner is ALWAYS on plan, but it's what happens afterwards that I hate. I sit & eat, anything I can find! It's been happening since Christmas. ARGHHHHHHHH
I think I have come up with a Baldrick (cunning) plan. I bought some low fat mousse mix from Lidl (2.5 sysns per portion). I made pud for everyone (inc me) and by the time we had finished & had pud I was feeling like a python at feeding time!
ANY SYN VALUES YOU WANT ME TO CHECK, JUST POST OR PM ME. HAPPY TO HELP & IT STOPS ME EATING!!!!!:rotfl:

  • Morning everyone

Hi rugbymum, don't worry about yesterday I'm sure you will be fine at your WI today... I thought my kids were the only ones in the owrld like that. All day I have a traquil (well tranquill for me) house with just the two little ones at home (DS is at school part time - full time from september YAY!!!) and DD is 2 and if got her toys to play with is a little angel at the moment (she starts nursery PT in September too double YAAY- I won't know where I am in a few months!!!) But its as soon as the oldest ones come in from school its like all hell break loose and there are fights, horrible things said to each other and I must sound like a fish wife!!!

It's soo true my stress levels hit an all time high at that time of the day and b4 I strated my duiet thats when a sugar injection was needed as I don't smoke (maybe I should start!). I can remeber having arguments with my brother when I was a kid but it wasn't on a daily basis and to such extremes, sometimes I wish I had a little sound proofed bubble box that I could go and sit in!

I'm on a red day today again and am having a green day tomrrow so am going to do some preparation for tomrrow for snacks as I was so unprepared for my green day last week and I messed it all up. Going to cook a potato omlette like a spanish torilla and cut it into cubes so I can have it as a cold snack throughout the day tomorrow

    have a great day everyone

Daily eating plan Good morning everyone, thick thick fog here today - hope it clears away cause I have to take Charlie to the groomers this morning and that trip includes traversing the M25 plus some narrow country lanes! Please let the sun come out!

Here is my eating plan - EE again. I have stuck to my plans pretty good this week so far. I always eat everything on the plan, it is just the extras in the evenings that do me in!:D

Breakfast - egg, bacon & leftover mash fried with onion, 1 tblsp ev olive oil (free, free, heb)

Lunch - Homemade leek and potato soup (free) - may also have SW chilli in jacket potato if I get home in time to make it! (free)

Dinner - Chicken breast stuffed with garlic/quark mixture and wrapped in bacon and served with carrots, green beans and mashed potato. (free)

milk in drinks will be my (hea)

I will have some nuts and raisons tonight as nibbles (10 syns). I have started drinking sugar free tonic water with ice and a slice in the evening. Tastes just the same as the version with vodka in it (almost;))

    Love
    Marion

Well done on those that have lost weight these past few days..it really helps and gives encouragement to me also..

I have been doing well with the eating but been a bit down. Probably just the january blues..i have never been to classes so can people just confirm that what i am eating is ok?

    yesterday I had
breakfast - muller light, banana, apple
lunch - left over sw chilli, satsuma, diet coke
dinner - sw chicken korma, salad, water

    today i am having..
    bf - mullerlight, banana
lunch - left over sw cauliflower & chick pea curry, diet coke, apple
dinner - SW Indian mixed grill & salad, pineapple

As far as I know, this is all free? I dont seem to use my syns, is that ok?

also, i have read all the posts on EE but just dont get it..am i right in thinking it is..

you only have 1 healthy extra (a & b) instead of 2, and if you do that, u can mix the red and green days and have as much as u want of the "free foods"?..

does this mean u could have chicken with pasta for example?

i think i am wrong because I cannot see how this would work..

    thanks for your help

    Scott

Morning all had my wiegh in this morning and have maintained which I am pleased with as I had a bad week but annoyed with as there was no need for me to have a bad week if that makes any sense!

Straight back on it today though so hoping for a loss next week

Scott yes you are right in your description of EE. Loads of us have been on it and there have been some good losses:D It is important to have your syns because there are there to add interest to your food and your day and to stop you feeling deprived and going off the plan completely!
I have added what you could have had in red to your menu to show you what you could have had on EE. Any synned food on EE is taken at the lower value if it is different of red or green! Also I don't see any health A's or B's in your menu? naughty boy :naughty:, so I have added them as well:j
Hope you don't mind the editing
