Well Ive just got back from my first SW meeting.Everyone was really friendly and the consultant was great.I was so nervous, my hands were shaking and I was sweating and red.
I was 5lb heavier than my scales so Snaggles can you alter my starting wt on your spreadsheet, il PM you.
Im just going to read through the books and get my head round it, im made up eggs are free as I love them they r my fav food.
I havnt told my family or work colleagues im at SW as im fed up of failing, but I hope with the support of my DFW friends I can keep at it, my downfall with WW was always the summer barbies but I think I can manage it on this diet.

Barbies are great in the summer, make your own burgers with lean mince have steak, chops chicken and flavour them with your own spices as most are free. make a potato(skins on) salad with spring onions coated in vlf fromage frais and have as much salad as you can eat and hey presto a completely plan friendly meal keeping your syns for booze:beer:

  • Hello everyone

Please can somebody confirm whether sugar free jelly is free?

I had a really big lunch today at work (all on plan) so felt nicely filled up but still fancied something sweet (even after fruit salad). I thought jelly might just do the trick.

    TIA - and I hope everyone's ok

    Piggybanker

sugar free jelly is 2syns per sachet, but the average portion when made up is half a syn. if you can give me the exact jelly i can find out for you no problems

I think that is .5 of a syn for a quarter of it made up as it makes 4 portions.

I'm feeling quite proud of myself. As i'd weighed myself already I was going to cut myself a bit of slack tonight and have fish, oven chips and peas.

OH has gone to his friends house to watch the football, so I've just done myself 2 jacket potatoes with beans and fromage frais. The day ended up being

    mullerlight
    strawberries
    bananas

    pasta n sauce
    skimmed milk (hoa)
2 ounces optivita with raisins 2 x hob)

a Yorkie bar (it was a 'cut your self weigh in day slack moment) 16 syns

    jacket potatoes
    beans
    fromage frais.

I went from thinking of having a bit of a day off to just have 1 syn too many!

OH can have the faggots in gravy with oven chips when he gets in - those faggots were almost my lunch but I stayed 'good'!!

I'm managing to keep up with weights on the thread at the moment supersaver, so don't worry about pm'ing - haven't done today's update yet but will do that in a bit. :)

Wow, you are all so motivated - I have been rubbish these last 2 days and think I will be way over on syns. BUT, I'm hoping that the PMT will have subsided by tomorrow, so I'm going to make sure that by next Wednesday, I will be able to report a loss.

Keep going everyone, you're doing great - imagine how nice it will be to wear your summer clothes without feeling self conscious. :T

Hi all - well I weighed myself this morning - poor scales were groaning and have noted down my start weight in a top secret place! I have put my £5 'class fee' in a separate pot.

Have had a good day today no syns as of yet I am saving them for some chocolate later - thats my luxery!

Well done so far everyone keep it up x x x
