Good morning everyone, hope you are all well. It rained all day yesterday which always makes things a little miserable! Then I went to Tesco last night and got loads of vegetable bargains (carrots -10p, onions 8p,brocolli 12p, cauliflower 8p, bags of runner beans 12p and packets of leeks 12p plus a nice big joint of pork reduced from almost £7 to £1.35:j All that cheered me up and I have plans to make loads of soup today for the freezer!
Today I am having:
Breakfast - bacon, eggs and hashbrowns (free)
Lunch - Hot pork sandwich with mashed potato and mixed vegetables (free+heb+2syns+free)
Dinner - Ribeye steak with prawn skewers(need to eat these as have been in the freezer for almost a year!) with rice (free)
Snacks - fruit and yogurt with milk in coffee will use up my hea

Way to go Skinty:beer:
I had a really good night out last night, stuck to Diet coke with a spash of JD or 2;) avoided the chippy and heated up some quorn bolognaise when I got in at midnight. Danced my legs down to me knees too:dance:
I am hoping for a loss this week and I tried to get into my skinny black trousers and they now fasten without stopping my circulation:T Just another couple of pounds and they will fit lovely, aiming to wear them on New Years Eve:rolleyes:
Feeling really positive and happy at the moment. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Well done Skinty and Terri!!
How's everyone doing today? I'd the first of my Crimbo nights out on Saturday - and although I didn't do too badly with the food (didn't have a starter or a pudding, and only ate half my main course - mostly because the portions were HUGE - so I defo didn't go hungry and the food was AMAZING) - I didn't do so well with the alcohol! I started off with the vodka and diet coke, but since the restaurant was a BYOB - it was either cider or wine - so I plumped for a glass (or 4  ) of wine! Yesterday was ok - although I had an ice cream mcflurry from McDonalds last night as part of my hangover _pale_ cure!
I'll need to try and be extra good this week, if I'm hoping to at least stay the same!
If I manage to just not put any weight back on before Christmas I'll be quite happy with that!
Feeling quite positive today anyway - plus, we're going to the BBC studios to be in the audience for a new sitcom - so I'm quite looking forward to that!! It's something a wee bit different - and the best bit? It's free!!

Weekly weigh in - happy to report a 1.5 lb loss this week so very pleased with myself. Will try and have one more good week this week before allowing a few Christmas goodies to start creeping in! I was only going to have treats on Xmas day but then I thought I should start slow and work my way up to grand feast:rotfl::rotfl:!

nickynoo08 wrote: »Hiya everyone,
had a bit of an on off week, yesterday i wasnt hungry for much of the day but come tea time i was ravenous and couldnt stop eating. Today i've hardly eaten again. I know what you mean cwm, sometimes i leave it till i'm really hungry before i even think about what i'm going to have n then i end up eating all the wrong foods. I've noticed since i've started doing sw again that one week i dont have an appetite but the next week you cant fill me, batch cooking has definately helped me with both problems buts as i currently feel like s**t i've done no batch cooking and have nowt left in the freezer so i'm dreading the next few days. I've got a few syn free yogs in but i really cant face eating anything like that at the moment. Any suggestions for quick, easy on the stomach snacks thats either syn free or hea/b other than ryvita and toast - im sick of eating them:rolleyes:
Hey nickynoo, have you tried Crackerbreads? I find them really moreish - and you can have 7 of them as an HEB - so it feels as though you're getting loads as well! Or have you ever made "crisps" out of lasagne pasta sheets? Wet them on either side, then grill them, and you can sprinkle them with salt/vinegar, or salt/pepper, or even some cheese as an HEA. Not quite the real thing, but they're quite good - and they're free on a green day!! Depending on the topping!!

So todays plan is a mix2match day:
Breakfast - fruit - banana, apple, 2 satsumas
Lunch - Leftover rice and vegetables from last night mixed with quorn curry from the freezer - (free and free + 3 syns)
Dinner - Small rack of lamb with baked potato, steamed carrots and green beans with scan bran cakes and custard for dessert (free+heb+free+hea+8syns)

I'm sorry but they're not free on any day. The use of lasagne sheets to make crisps (or potatoes to make crisps, or couscous to make cakes etc., etc) constitutes misuse of free foods and is frowned upon by SW.
That's not to say you can't have them, but they should be synned as if using the sheets on a red day ie 2½ syns per sheet.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Well done to all the losers/sts:j
I am hoping for a loss tomorrow night at WI, I have been really good all week :A
I will update the Spreadsheet tomorrow as its my day off.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
