    Hi guys
Well done Pingu that is amazing.:j
I managed 4.5lbs this week and a must confess that I know I could have done better. Weird huh? I did drink lots of vino this week, so if I hadn't had those two bottles (How many syns????? ), it would have been more. So wanna get 3.5 lbs next week (that puts the kiss of death of that  ), fingers crossed.
    Feeling happy.:j :j :j :j :j

Well done Penguin!! :j :A That's absolutely fab - you'll be feeling amazing come Christmas day with that amount of weight loss - there always seems to be so many more photos etc taken at this time of year - you must be really looking forward to showing off the svelte new you in all your Crimbo photos now!! :T

    xx

Maybe next Christmas I'll jump in front of the camera but not quite svelte yet! Seriously though I am starting to feel different still have a long way to go but I am just concentrating on each half stone at a time and hopefully next christmas I'll be wearing a nice dress! x x

Just popped in to say well done to the losses/STS , I will update the spreadsheet tonight.

I am really focusing back on the plan 100% and am trying to go for the the next 7 days using as little syns as possible.

Slipped up yesterday though as had an original day and used bread and 2 x Hifi bars as my HEB. Had salmon and veg for tea with garden peas which I then realised were not a free veg so I had to syn them:mad:

No syns planned for today but I do love the Hifi bars as HEB choices:D

    Todays menu
B - Optifit yog with banana, apple
L - Roast beef with veg
D - Pork chop with veg

    Snacks - 2 x hifi bars (HEB), 2x cheese on toast (HEA&B) Syns 0
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Had a pants day yesterday, my back is even worse now than it was before i went to see my dr. The painkillers arent even touching the pain, so back to see dr tomoro morning to see if there's anything else he can give me or to see if there's anything else wrong. Its driving me mad cuz the house is a total tip now. I'm sure my little un n OH are making more mess than usual cuz they know i cant tidy up:rolleyes:. Worried i might get signed off, but at the same time i know i cant work with this pain, just glad i've already got xmas sorted.
Sorry whinge over. Need to get back on track this week, OH has been looking after me and hasnt quite grasped red days n green days so ordered in a take away:eek: for tea the other night and did me bacon sarnie last night-which was lovely but he never used fry light. At least he's 'trying' tho:p

  • Diet's kinda out the window for me! I went to a gig last night, and had planned on driving, but ditched the car and had a few vodka's instead!

I'm now sitting on my boyf's sofa eating biscuits and drinking sugary tea to feed my hangover!! :EasterBun :naughty:

I will get back on track later though - just on time for my works night out on Saturday! If I'm being honest - I'm getting a bit fed up watching what I'm eating - I feel as though I've been on a diet forever!! Will there ever be a day where it's ok to eat some nice thick warburtons toastie bread without feeling guilty?! ;)

    xx

  • Yeah sorry you're not feeling good Nickynoo - there's nothing worse than being in pain! Are you taking anti-inflammatories as well as pain killers? Hope you feel better soon!

Well done Rugbymum - that's a fab loss -and without depriving yourself too! What's your secret? Have you been munching on loads of speed foods?

    xx

    Hi CWM,
this is exactly what we were chatting about at group on tuesday, how to eat something you feel is naughty with out feeling you are being naughty (if that makes sense)
with SW we know no foods are banned but we still feel gulity when we eat something we dont class as "diet" food like that cookie or the chocolate bar or in your case the crusty toast with butter so we have to retrain our thoughts to accept that we can have that food not feel guilty and syn it. (difficult i know).
If you really want that Toast and butter have a day when all your food and drink is free then have it and enjoy it, enjoy every bite every mouthfull, then you know you have used your syns on something you really want instead of picking at things all day that you dont really want they are just there so you eat them for the sake of it.

Yeah that's a good idea! I think I almost feel as though I have to starve myself to feel as though I'm on a diet - but don't suppose i'll ever stick to it long-term, if I don't start looking at it as more a healthy lifestyle change rather than a diet! I suppose everything in moderation never did any harm! I might just have some white toast without feeling like I've commited a cardinal sin!!

Thanks Northernlass - I'm probably just feeling a little sorry for myself since I'm a bit hungover! :D
