Today's going ok so far - my appetite seems to have taken a walk to itself the last few days - which is no bad thing!
I'm having a rare green day, so:
Brekkie: weetabix and milk (HEB + HEA)
Lunch: 2 x slices weightwatchers wholemeal toast, 1/2 tin of spaghetti hoops (HEB + Free?) - Kinda forced it down though as I wasn't hungry at all?! Would I be better just not eating?
Dinner: SW Chips, with Mayflower Curry Sauce (Free, approx 6 syns)
I'm going out tonight, but I'm gonna be good and take the car! Means I'll save money towards Christmas, and calories towards my new thinner waist line since I won't be able to have any alcohol!

That's not too bad northernlass - were you not worried at one point that it would be 6lbs?
Just dust yourself off and start again - Christmas is only a couple of weeks away, so it's easier to break the next week or 2 into smaller chunks before your next big treat's due!!

Sorry, not wanting to be alarmist but anything can happen and it's an awful lot of money. As for the dress, well, I'm trying to see a good side, but it's not easy/ If you feel uncomfortable in it and don't like either the colour or the style, what's the point? In any case, isn't dark purple a strange colour for a hot climate?
In short, no, I don't think you're being unreasonable, I think the bride is out of line buying a dress without your approval!
Sorry consultant - I'm just catching up properly on the last few days posts now!
You're right it is a lot of money - the only reason it's actually an issue is because I'm hoping to go back to uni next year - which all going well will mean I will be out of work for a year (or fulltime work at least - I'll probably need to get a part-time job for at least some of the time!). I'd said I would go to Mexico more than a year ago now, and my place was booked in April, and since I only decided in June to definitely go ahead and apply for entry next year, my circumstances have obviously changed considerably since I first agreed to go! I'm wishing now that I hadn't - but my place's booked - and it's part of a group booking, so it'll cause all sorts of problems if I pull out now probably! I'm sure I'll figure something out!
There's been no more mention of the dress either - so I'm really hoping she'll have a re-think and take it back! If not, I'll just have to up the ante on the diet and make sure I'm not the token fat frump on the day!

I want to go to Mexico, you just need to mention anywhere warm and sunny and I'm there in my head! only wish I had the funds to make it a reality...

Morning everyone, i'm still off work bad. My back is no better my mates mum who is a nurse reckons i might have ibs too which would explian a few things, so off to dr's in the morn to try n get a few things sorted. Hope he can do summat for my back tho cuz i cant afford to take anymore time off work.
On a more positive note my mum went shopping the other day and found a dress for me for the wedding. It was exactly what i was looking for only i'd never of found it if i went shopping. Best bit, it only cost £20 from H&M, looks expensive tho.
Last few days have gone really well feeling a bit more positive about next weigh in.£387.39/£196.46

well done skinty! I'm impressed you're managing to lose weight while still having a drink!
I keep blowing my diet on silly things! Was really good all day Thu/Fri, then went out Friday night, took the car to avoid drinking alcohol, therefore saving money as well as calories - but ended up scoffing half a bag of Maltesers (and it was a big bag!!) .
Then was good all day yesterday, but caved last night when mum offered to take me out for dinner.
Today I'm getting back on the wagon. I keep sabotaging myself by not making time for brekkie, which leaves me hungry for the rest of the day, and more likely to cave - so I'm off to get some weetabix now!!
Hope you feel better soon penguin - loads of people seem to be coming down with the lurgae at the minute!!

hhhhmmmm - I was weighing 1 lb lighter this morning when i finally dragged my backside out of bed!! Still, my official weigh in day isn't 'til Thursday - so that may well change!!
Today's going ok so far, since it was technically lunch time when I got up, I had 2 slices of weight watchers wholemeal toast HEB, (extra light flora spread on them, so some syns there), 2 poached eggs (again!! Seems to be my failsafe this week!), and some raspberries, along with 1/2 pint of Milk (HEA)
For dinner, I'll be having, hm Veg Soup (Free) Steak, with mushrooms and onions (Free since it's a meat day), Sweet Potato Wedges (HEB) and Salad (Free). Then fruit and yoghurt for dessert.
Hope you're all enjoying the rest of what's left of the weekend!!
