I was just saying this the other day, about it encouraging you to cook and eat properly. I did weightwatchers a few years ago, and lost a bit, but my eating habits were still terrible - I would eat nothing all day so that I could have a takeaway and wine at night, or I would eat microwave ready meals.

I hardly ate any fruit, because fruit wasn't 'free', and ate loads of diet products that were high in sugar, salt etc, just because they were lower in points.

I think on balance weight watchers is easier to get the hang of, but slimming world is probably healthier and more sustainable long term.

Thanks Bob - I will go if it doesn't get any better. Well done on your weight loss!! :T :T

I weighed myself this morning and had lost nothing :rotfl: but I don't mind because at this time of the month, usually I am a good few pounds heavier, and I know I was 2lbs lighter midweek, so I will put it down to water retention and ignore the scales....lol!

    Hi guys can I join?

I've been back at class about 4 weeks and had a really bad day on Monday so not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow night.

So far I have lost 3.5 lbs, which isn't huge, but at least it's off right?

3.5lbs is half a standard-sized new born baby....:rotfl: That's quite a bit of weight to lose really, if you look at it that way.

Will update the spreadsheet a bit later with all the new starters and weigh-ins. :) (Cleosmum, I'll add you to the spreadsheet and then it's up to you if you want to post/pm your losses)

I know I think I have issues with it because the first time I joined I lost 5lbs in the first week (the size of my cousins new born baby!!) and yet 4 weeks in and I've not lost it yet.

But I keep thinking that when I did this first time I lost 4.5 stone, and have put 2.5 stone back on so every little helps and it's not like it's virgin weight loss. Well it makes me feel better.
