    sounds a good plan northern lass - 2 b choices is 190g (7 ounces) of beef.

    I was naughty 2 days ago and got on the scales. They said I'd lost 3 pounds - got on today and they say I'm 1 pound heavier than my start weight!!! If that is the case on weigh in tomorrow, many, many naughty words will come out of my mouth...........my scales are really accurate so I won't be able to blame it on them so I will not be impressed

    I will eat fruit and veg only for the rest of the day, and really enjoy my chinese now - thanks guys!!

  • Hi Ava,
    the SW book does look daunting to start with but it is very easy, if you get stuck just fill up on the free foods section and ask advice on the others at least that way you will never go hungry.
    If you have to eat what is in your house for the next week dont worry, you can always check the syn values of what you have on the SW website as i will post the password every week so we can all use it.
    good luck, after a couple of weeks you will wonder how you got by with out it, LOL

    I will definitely look on the website once we've got the password, have had a mooch already and it's pretty good. I know I just need to get into the swing of it - starting is the hardest part, and then I wouldn't be surprised if I get a bit obsessed by it - much like dealing with my debts!

    welllllllllll, you'll need to count the sauce as something as it will have oil/oyster sauce etc in it. The chicken would be a b choice and the rice and vegetables free on a green day. The sauce is where the syns come into play really.

  • according to the SW website chicken and mushroom with boiled rice is 11 syns on green take away 6 if you use the chicken as healthy B choice leaves 5 syns, my hubby and i share this and get an extra porthion of rice so it must have been 2.5 syns a portion not free sorry (it always used to work out as free but SW must have give it a higher syn value) sorry:cry: if i confused anyone but still 2.5 syns for a chinese meal isnt bad:j

    so had better last a while
    Bearing in mind I am doing SS not SW
    I am having Mini Kievs for dinner with salad and potatoes:p

  • :eek: well ive just got back from my weekly meeting and ive put on 4 lbs over the school hols when we went away so it looks like you are stuck with me if you want me as i am really going to need support throughout the week. please add me to your members list and make note of my weight, ok here goes, its, im getting there, give me a minute ;) deep breath, no i cant do it but its GOING DOWN:T .
