Awww thank you - usually I would just give up at this point and spend the rest of the day eating pringles, but I'm not going to this time. Think I will go with using todays and tomorrows, or maybe allow myself a maximum of 5 for the rest of the week (or maybe 7, so I can have a bag of crisps...:rotfl:).

Oh hang on, that might not be too bad - boiled rice will be free, and I usually have veg in blackbean sauce, so I will only need to count the blackbean sauce there.
Right - chicken in blackbean sauce is 5 syns on a red day, so the chicken bit will be free - so the rest is 5 syns?? Or isn't it that logical?

i've never seen an own brand pasta and sauce which is free. If you look back to yesterday or the day before I did a list of some low syn branded yoghurts -should help

i think im gonna be askin a lot of questions to get the hang of this diet as ive never done it before but if anyone gets fed up wiv me please say lol

as long as the own brand yoghurt is fat free and not just low fat then they are usually free and usually only the tomato based pasta n sauce is free shops own brand, according to my FREE BRANDED FOODS book.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

Oh Gawd - ok I'm asking for the support of all you lovely peeps! I'm supposed to be starting the SW plan tomorrow, and I'm feeling very de-motivated right now. I've never done SW before so I'm still quite confused by the whole thing (sorry!) and I've got no money til next week when I get paid so will have to do the first week as best as I can with the food I've got in. Argh! Plus I weighed myself this morning - :eek:
I know it should motivate me but it kinda just depresses me.....does anyone else get that feeling??

Hi Ava,
the SW book does look daunting to start with but it is very easy, if you get stuck just fill up on the free foods section and ask advice on the others at least that way you will never go hungry.
If you have to eat what is in your house for the next week dont worry, you can always check the syn values of what you have on the SW website as i will post the password every week so we can all use it.
good luck, after a couple of weeks you will wonder how you got by with out it, LOLDFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
