How do you make syn free crisps??
the best way to make them ive found is to use one of those V slicers and slice the potato really thinly, dry them off and place thm on a baking tray sprayed with frylight, spray potatoes with frylight and sprinkle with those shotz packets (cant remember who makes them) and cook in a very hot oven until dried out and crispy keep checking them tho as they burn really quickly, they are not like real crisps but will curb that savoury craving if you have one.
they are free on green day but if you want them on original you will have to have them with skins and the recomended amount to count as a B choice.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

Sadly, the 'syn-free crisps' are not actually syn-free! Cooking potatoes in this way is counted as 'misuse of free foods' as you will have heard about various other things (couscous cake etc).
It is definitely much better than having a bag of Walkers, but you need to only have a few and only now and then.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
No confessions this morning:D I had some pickled onions and some of my rice pudding (which I seem to have made a vat of) and that staved off any unhealthy pickings last night.
Today I will be having
Breakfast
2 x wholemeal toast (HE) with flora buttery lite
Lunch
Tomato and chicken (HE) pasta
Dinner
Vegetable curry with boiled rice
Snacks
Piece of cheese, muller lights, yoghurt, rice pudding (HE) (that will be the last bit of the one I made on Tuesday):DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Morning, such slooooow progress here, another 1lb lost, but it's taking forever.
2lbs to go to hit my first stone lost - that should take me about 6 months at this rate. :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Thanks Louise - it's frustrating because I feel like I'm working really hard at it, but I suppose I've lost my focus a bit this last couple of weeks and have probably eaten more crap than I've realised (and drunk more woo woo)."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

1 lb a week equates to almost 2 stones in a year - be proud of yourself, you're doing well.
Also if you lose weight quickly it doesn't give you time to really learn new habits and, of course, if the old ones resurface after you get to your target you won't stay there long!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
