Love the idea of a purple day. Can I class the WooWoo as free on a red day then? :rotfl:
Diet hasn't been perfect today but could have been a lot worse. And I ran the school run again, there and back, even the uphill bit right at then end that I usually walk. My legs felt like they were on fire!!
Now I've got to go to work....grrrrr.......so will try to find something healthy to take with me."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
yep - I drink lots - in fact, I only really drink water. I don't like coffee and probably have less than 20 cups of tea a year. Juice is sinned and I weaned myself off a bad (Diet!) Coke 18 months ago and don't want to get back into it.
Sometimes I have weak sugar free squash but I find a lot of them give an weird taste in the mouth from the sweeteners.
Snaggles - yep, woo woo is free on a red day :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

do you stay to image therapy, if not then dont read on if so then you will be used to all the members stories and those listening to yours and it will be hard to do it without it. i hope you can manage without group, i know groups arent money saving but i couldnt do this without mine, i have tried and failed on several occasions putting all ive lost back on and more. we know this site is about money saving and im not endorsing the cost of group, but this thread is about losing weight and if youre like me we want to do them both but for me this is money well spent. this is my personal views and im here to help and advise, others may well come along who it has worked for, if you do decide to stay at group buy a countdown so you are saving money that way. if you dont stay at group then i wish you well.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
Couldn't agree more Northernlass.
All my life I've been a serial dieter, but when you're doing it at home, it's all too easy to think "I'll have this today and do without tomorrow". The thought of being weighed by someone else and in front of other people, can often be enough to keep you on the straight and narrow.
Lots of people do manage it without going to group but I think they're the more self-disciplined among us.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Ive made a big mistake today, im having a red day.
Breakfast - boiled egg, 2 wholemeal nimble (HEB) teaspoon light butter 1.5 syns.
Lunch - OH finished work and brought me a bacon and egg barm from the local bakery, I didnt think it would be too bad as bacon grilled and egg didnt seem to greasy then I looked up the syns for the barm it was a massive 14.5 syns.I can beleive it so now I have gone over my syns for the day.Im gutted.
but thats not all then I had some asda cheese puffs havnt looked at the syns for these.I feel like im never going to lose this weight, I feel quite despondant today.
Forget it and move on. If you dwell on a mistake, it's much more likely to bring you down and make you feel a failure. You're a normal human being who's made an error, so what? Tomorrow you will shineI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I do it from home at the moment, have been doing it 10 days and lost 7lbs my first week. The weight loss is enough motivation for me at the moment, if I start to struggle I will join a group. There is a forum www.minimins.com which is great for support (dont know if its already been mentioned). Lots of people go it alone on there.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
