hmmm not good! I have times when my appetite disappears too. What about cereal in the morning? or a 'fry' up on a red day?

Still working a bit blind with the red/green healthy extra thing as I dont go to group or have any SW books. I have a few magazines though and the 2 week plans from the website.

    Today I have had

    Breakfast
2 x Slices of Nimble wholemeal bread with half fat butter, handful of grapes

    Lunch
    Red pepper and Onion Omelett

    Dinner
Small portion of roast chicken, roast pots done in fry lite, HM ratatouille, mixed veg.

Snacks (Goodness I have snacked alot today)
    Banana
    Blackberries
    1 x Fig roll:o
Small piece of half fat chedder
    Cucumber with 1tsp hummous

    Does this look alright?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

not really. working hard I suppose - am also studying for my masters in my spare time, as well as looking after OH and myself.

have been shopping and bought some muller yoghurt's, also red peppers and carrot sticks to cut into strips to nibble on.

have had a philly splendip (7.5 syns) and 6 cadbury fingers (1.5 syns each)

tea tonight is going to be chicken breast with 1 spoon bbq spread and bake, peas, sweetcorn and small jacket pot.

    Beans (free)
    Toast (b)

    Tea
    2 x Quorn sausages (free)
SW Parsnip & Leek Crispbakes (1.5 syns) (These looked manky but tasted delish ;))
    Grilled Toms (free)

Well I lost 4lbs in my first week despite my fall(s) of the waggon.

Have already fallen a couple of times this week too :o:o but plan to stay on track from hereonin.

Have to admit I misread that as HEROIN!!!:o

Well done on the four pounds thats fantastic.

I fall off the wagon every weekend... I suppose I have to work round the 80/20 rule. I am good all week and then I am bad at the weekends.. but even now I am being good while being bad (IFYSIM) better at being bad:rotfl:

Jennyred, I'm assuming you don't go to a group and are trying to follow the plan alone  It's not an easy way to do it and to be honest the way you're eating isn't healthy at the moment.

If you're working hard and trying to study you should be having better quality, more nourishing food to keep your body and brain in good health. I'm glad to see you're going to nibble on carrot sticks and peppers rather than chocolate fingers etc, but there's still a lot you could do. You should be having your healthy extras (milk and cheese for calcium and wholemeal bread or cereals etc for fibre).

Please don't think I'm criticising, I am genuinely trying to help you keep healthy and lose weight and both of those things depend on you eating good quality, nourishing food in sufficient quantities.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
