Hi BB - those photos are a killer aren't they! Hope you manage to get your diet head on soon.

I had a bad day today - involves OH going to work with car keys in pocket and Post office managing to mess up a deposit!!!! (Long story) so what did I do! Bought a pork pie and a bar of white chocolate. Now I feel even sorrier for myself. Why do we try so hard and then have no willpower.

Did anyone see that Courtney Love has managed to lose so much weight with Paul Mckenna that she currently looks anorexic! Big sigh!!!!

BB, it was a photo of me last year that made me realise how bad things were :o

Somehow the mirrors round the house had been telling a different story. Either that, or I'd been subconsciously avoiding them all

Oh and BTW, I voted for Charlie earlier :D

He's got a lot more to lose than me, probably around 7 or 8 stone, so he can expect to lose it quicker.

I'm so lazy though, I cant motivate meself to do any form of exercise at all

Spud - you should team up with some motivated people who don't let you get away with not exercising. I work with two colleagues who are like that. I will do ANYTHING to get out of running and they FORCE me. I always feel better having done a run, although I moan like mad for the first twenty minutes.

Yesterday turned into a swimming competition between me and OH - he didn't want to be beaten by me every length, so he went faster and faster and I went faster and faster behind him. Neither of us could hardly walk by the time we gave up and got out. Pathetic eh!

Can anyone help me with some SW ideas for easy picnic food?

We've got a some days out planned in the next few weeks, and would usually take butties and crisps or pork pie, sausage rolls etc. Obviously all those are off the menu for us now.

We need easy stuff, nowt too posh cos it's just me, DH, DD DS and the dog going on some nice long walks (exercise ;) )

    Any ideas

Sammy, I'm trying to think if I know anyone like that :rotfl:

My DH would be good, but to be honest, I only really see him at weekends cos he works nights ;)

You can make slimming world things [STRIKE]that have egg inside[/STRIKE] scotch eggs, using eggs and pork mince with breadcrumbs. Haven't got a recipe but I am sure someone else will have one.

lots of cut up peppers, carrots, celery etc (could you have them with houmus)

  • Hello Bunnyinthelights,
This is not a diet, but over the last 2 months I have started to cycle into work, its about 7 miles. So far I have lost a stone and saved £70 a month in train tickets. For the first week I cycled to the next station after my normal one, and each week I cycled to the next station to help build up the cycling. I'm getting near to forty so I take it steady, but its helping me save money ( I need to  -£64K ) and loose weight.:D
    :mad:Life isn't all work, work work.
:eek:There is the traveling two and from work:eek:
