Did you look up the total syns for the cheesecake icecream? Is it as bad as you think? I got myself into a right state when I went for a scone with jam and clotted cream, but when I looked it up it was still within my syns.

I had a quick look this morning and I think I was heading at about 26 syns or something around there.

But it could have been much much worse!!!!

Still been really good so far today!

    Morning people....

I did really well yesterday.... until I somehow managed to eat half a tub os strawberry cheesecake ice cream :o (Spud I am SO Sorry!!!)

But that is the tub gone now :D.

Although it has made me realise that I need to deal with evening eating. I am really good at work :A and then I go home and it gets messy!!!

Tonight should be ok, as I am going to see some friends who also do Slimming World (we have our own group as hate paying!) so I will be busy, it's just the rest of the week I need to sort.

Oh and star week is due any day now, so that's not helping :rotfl:

    But plan for today:

    Breakfast - 2 weetabix + skimmed milke

Lunch - Egg roll, yogurt and fruit

Dinner - Quorn sausage and bean bake!

Snacks loads of fruit, and other type free foods, we are making syn free crisps at 'group' tonight so them to!

Oh and I discovered yet more clothes that don't fit any more this morning.... Getting dressed for work is a real pain sometimes

So anyone any ideas on how to deal with evening snacking?

    x

During the day I tend to make up a chicken ceser salad Low cal dressings which I alternate grated parmasan few herbie crutons lots of pepper etc so I've got something to munch. Then as I also keep my choc in the freezer can have a bit of that and frozen grapes are good, like boiled sweets that last ages. frozen bananas on sticks are great too. hope that helps x

My old consultant would tell people to increase their healthy extras rather than their syns.

Don't know if you have tried that?

Well Done for being at target though!

Official SW scales say 1.5lb off, which is still great, thats 3lb in the last 2 weeks, but in june I only managed a half off by the time I had yoyo'd.

try freezing your favourite syn free yoghurt and have it instead of ice cream, i find if you mix it with fromage frais it is really creamy. thats what i do and they last for ages, it takes me a good evening to eat one.

oh by the way dad is picking up now, his breathing has stableized so he can be left alone for short periods. thanks to all the well wishes it is thoughtfull of you all. i have done well on the plan so far until tonight when i really craved pizza ( i must look back through the threads and see when my star week is) so treated myself to a small 8" one and will be extra good over the weekend if i can.
good night all im knackered and will have another long day tomorrow.
