Dinner - can of Baxter's minestrone with wholemeal pasta (HEB) and 2 slices of weight watchers bread (5 syns)

    2 jaffa cakes (4 syns)

    that's me for the day.

Tomorrow will be difficult as visiting family but will just have to do my best.

    good evening everyone

yay - last night for me!!!!

    green day

    breakfast
    2 x wholemeal toast
    2 x poached eggs

    dinner
    jacket pot
    beans

    fruit

I know your not supposed to but I weigh my self every day - I use it as a motivator but I have stayed the same weight ALL week. 99.6kg. I thought maybe my scales were broken but OH proved that they were not.
How can I be the same everyday?? its very frustrating!

i think next week I need to add more exercise (well add exercise full stop!) will be off all week but have 2 essays to finish by friday so they will take up most of my time.

any who - moan over!!! have a lovely evening all.

    Well done northernlass and jenny

I had a rubbish day today. Banana for breakfast, light alpen bar on the motorway. Another Alpen bar and 2 light babybel when I got to my destination. Then it all went pear shaped... :o

Around 15 homemade chips (deep fried)

    A small unidentified cake thing

A chocolate covered rich tea biscuit

A McD bacon cheeseburger and fries

I did buy 5 pairs of shorts, a short skirt, cropped trousers and 2 tops for my holiday but put loads of stuff back as I looked 'bulgy' in the changing rooms

I HAVE to up my exercise this week!

Oh dear, I had to buy some new bathroom scales and they are saying I'm 5lbs heavier than the other ones did.

I think they're lying (honest gov :o) but to be on the safe side, I am going to go by what they say, but now I'm not sure what to do about my weekly weigh-in. I think what I will have to do is count it as a 5lb gain, otherwise I will get very confused (if I'm really good for the next couple of days, maybe I could reduce it to a 4lb gain!). It will feel a bit crap putting a big gain into the spreadsheet, but I think it's the only way to do it without demotivating myself.

(((hugs))) Lucy, you are trying really hard - and although your weight is a bit up and down, you are generally staying the same overall. You are obviously going through a bit of a low point at the moment, and if you're anything like me, these are the danger times for putting on weight. So just try to celebrate the fact that you are managing to maintain at least, and when you start to feel a bit better, the weight will start coming off again.

If you are feeling dizzy, maybe try having more slow-releasing energy foods like pasta into your diet (it will also fill you up more). Really push the free foods to the limit...lol. Bananas are good 'mood food' too because they contain tryptophan, which your body converts into seratonin.

just back from Dr's appointment and he thinks that the change in diet could be the cause!!!

So I just need to stick it out and try to increase my natural sugars.
