Well done cleosmum, dont worry busby it will come off next week.
I do mainly red days as pre SW diet carbs seemed to bloat me, I dont think I tolerate them well.
My problem seems to be that I use all my syns, I cant get them down.Today I have had

Breakfast - boiled egg, 2 nimble WM (HOB), teaspoon utterly butterly 1.5syns

Lunch - aunt bessies cauliflower cheese 8 syns, 2 bacon chops with all visible fat removed.

Dinner - grilled lamb steak, no fat, new potatoes (HOB) green beans and carrots.Skinny cow double choc lolly 4 syns.

In between I had 100g of turkey ham 1 syn.
    mullerlight, strawberries and a satsuma.

Does that sound Ok, ive just ordered shopping on line and I will be having mainly red days, I just needed to use up some bits from the freezer.

Hi shal that all sounds great, but if you are having a red day I don't think you have to syn the turky ham it should be free of syns.

Hi jennyred I know how you feel, I done 2 years of those 7 nights on 7 off, during my nursing career, it can be very tiring, and it must be difficult sorting out the right foods for night-time when you are on a diet. Never mind think positive, think of all that lovely lolly at the end of the month, AFTER the tax man has finished with it.

    Well Done Louise!!

Weight in last night and I've lost 1lb!! Which I am pleased with.

Hi Lucy well done, all that hard work paid off in the end.

Losing that lb will give you the incentive to lose another and another and another and soon you won't look back you will be well on your way to your goal, and this is what I want to do. I have just got to get myself motivated and find which plan suits me best, I somehow think its going to be the RED. Have a good day bubsy

Hi everyone, well done Cleosmum, Louise and Lucy :T

I weighed in this morning (a day early as I have a party to go to tonight :o )

And I've lost 1lb. I am pleased but it's coming off sooooooooo slowly! But I should be grateful that the weight's coming off and not going on or staying the same. I must admit, if any other diet I've done before had been this slow, I'd have given up by now, but SW is easy and I don't feel like I'm really on a diet, it's strange.

Anyway, today I've been reasonably careful as I know I'll be eating and drinking tonight.

    B'fast - banana and mullerlight

    Snack - banana

Lunch - leftover quorn bolognese and wholewheat spaghetti with grated parmesan (HEA)

    Snack - mullerlight

I'm not having anything else now. Party starts at 8 so I'll save myself until then. Although part of me thinks I should eat now so I don't eat so much later, I know that when confronted with party snacky food, I don't stop when I'm hungry anyway and probably won't eat any more than I would if I ate something now, IFSWIM?

My holiday stuff came today so I'm very excited. Will be shopping for some new clothes on Sunday. And a couple of people at work said I'd lost loads of weight today :j(they are now my favourite people there :D)

I`m really dissapointed yet again as i`ve put on 1lb again!! I have been on holiday for a week & a half though so i suppose thats not so bad only putting on 1lb. I`m gonna try really hard this week & try to shift a bit of it again as i was starting to do well but its just slid in the past couple of weeks.

Sounds pretty good to me and your syns are there to be used so unless you find you're going over the allowance, don't worry about it.

However, you could save syns by making things from scratch instead of buying them ready made. For instance, the cauliflower cheese seems quite high at 8 syns and you could make your own sauce using this recipe and adding a HEA of grated cheese:-

    SW white sauce

Crush 2 garlic cloves into 250ml semi skimmed milk (HEA) and bring to the boil
Mix 14g of corn flour with a little water and add to milk and stir until the mixture thickens.

This makes 2 servings at 1½ syns each.
Thanks consultant I will try that sauce, it might be nice on pasta.
I was using up things i had in the freezer thats why I didnt make them myself.

I ate looooads of rubbish at the party last night :o

    2 small slices of pizza
    About 6 cocktail sausages
A big spoon of tuna pasta with mayo
    Ridiculous amount of wotsits
About 6 cheese and pineapple sticks
4 quarter of toast, 2 with pate, 2 with garlic soft cheese
    Small slice of b'day cake
    Lots of sweets

There was probably more but I also had at least 4 glasses of pimms and lemonade and 2 glasses of wine :o

Feel bloated and a bit hungover this morning. Oops, it's afternoon now.

Will be good again today though. Not had breakfast yet but am going have some weetabix before tackling some housework.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
