    Looks like a great week Snaggles, always good to see a meal plan, I often get stuck for ideas and have the same old same old.

    mind if i start again? failed at this yet again but starting tomorrow will read this thread everyday and stick to it! just found out im going to meet a shoe designer who wants our materials over the summer and want to look respectible (sp) :o

    I dont miss ANY HEB or anything, im well aware of how the plan works and ive read the book inside out. i know its not on the list, im saying what ive been told. geeze i dont know why i bother to post on here sometimes lol.

    Actually you said " my sw consultant says you can have 28grams or brown rice OR pasta as a HEB. " which gives people who weren't sure the idea that it is a HEB, when it isn't, and it's 100gms of wholemeal pasta for a HEB, not 28gms.

    If you had brown rice instead of a proper HEB then you did miss one that day.

    It's not vital to your health to have them every day, obviously, but I was just telling you (and anyone else interested) that the only way to be sure is to read the book and watch the website.

    We all expect the plan we follow (whether it be SW, WW or any other) to help us lose weight, which, for the most part, they will, if you follow them properly.

    This thread is a great help and support to lots of people, but it's no good to them if the information given is incorrect surely. I only post on here to help people and never intend to annoy or upset anyone. My job as a SW Consultant requires me to provide "tough love" for want of a better expression, and sadly, this often seems to be not what people want to hear.

    Let's face it, having brown rice instead of wholemeal pasta occasionally isn't going to have a major impact on your weight loss - it's more the build up of the little sneaky shortcuts we take or the little cheats that we pretend never happened that make us think the diet isn't working, which then demotivates us and then we fall off the wagon.

    I have quite a few:

    - polos don't count, they're only mints
    - if I eat it at exactly midnight, I don't have to count it for either day
    - it was only a dash of milk in my drink, so it doesn't matter
    - if I can only have one vodka, better make it a big one!
    - Picking at Natasha's leftovers doesn't need to be counted - they're only babyfood (babyfood doesn't make HER fat :confused:)

    I'm trying really hard not to fall into any of these traps this time around, and am sticking to 'the rules' like glue!

    Evening

    I have had a pretty disastrous weekend, and I'm only hoping my exercise may have made up for it all :confused:

    Yesterday I started well with a 30 min swim followed by porridge, then we had a picnic and instead of butties I had ryvita and houmous, with an apple, muller light and banana. Slight downfall occurred in cafe with a scone with jam :eek: and shared some maltesers on the way home. BUT had pasta, pine nuts, mushrooms for tea with lots of salad and then went to the gym for a 30 min rowing.

    Today I ran 10km in a race, ate porridge, Dairy Milk bar :eek: :eek: :eek: , cheddars:eek: :eek: :eek: and a bbq with rose wine.

    Scales won't look good on tuesday will they :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
