Healthy extras which you can have on either red or green days (both a and b choices

if you would like any/all of these, PM me your email addy.
Hi, I'm new to the forums (joined ages ago but never used them), but really interested in this SW thread. Is there any way you could email the pdf's to me please? Sorry if I'm being cheeky, asking when I'm new.

    My email address is kate.deaves@gmail.com

    Thanks ever so very much!

  • Hi everyone, looking good..virtually that is. I rejoined SW, yesterday as i missed everyone at group and the support there. I also got a fantastic tip about wine. I often mix mine with slimline tonic, and the consultant said why not try the grape flavoured water? syn free at Mr T's. bought some today and it has a similar taste, so thought i would share, it is good to take to parties as well, as you can use it on the tables for all the drivers.
After weigh in, i had a shock..on my scales i was 2lb heavier than the sw scales..even with my clothes on!!! so boosted me up no end that did.

Why can't you have rice as a HEB? That's pants! Why is brown rice so much worse than pasta?

HEBs are to ensure you get enough fibre and there's not enough in brown rice to qualify as a HEB, but there is in wholewheat pasta.

This is why you see in the HEB lists, a portion of some cereals + a Ryvita or Scan Bran - it's to ensure you get the required amount of fibre.

Hello everyone. Hope you are all having a fun filled hunger free SW day.

    Well done northernlass. Slinky!!

Yesterday was really proud of myself - red day.

    Breakfast - mullerlight and fruit
    Snack - fruit
Lunch - chicken pate (receipe from northernlass - very tasty) with 4 sesame ryvita, carrots and celery.
Snack - Alpen light and fruit
Dinner - trout (love asda whoopsies) and loads of veg
Before bed - Alpen light bar and yet another cup of tea (stopped counting those long time ago)
Syns - little fairy cake that my oldest son made (couldn't really refuse)

Today is a green day and have brought a silly amount of food to work with me (all free or HEB). Feel like I've been eating all morning.

Breakfast - Shape lasting satisfaction yogurt (currently in Heron Frozen Foods at 39p for 4, best before Saturday so have bought lots!) and fruit.
Snack - fruit and Alpen light bar
    Snack - more fruit
    Snack - hard boiled eggs
Lunch - salad with cottage cheese, eggs, pasta and 2 sesame ryvita and more fruit

Haven't lost my sense of humour. Dug out my SW class book out from when I used to go last year. April last year I was at my heaviest - EVER! Looking back I didn't think I was that big but while some mirrors lie, the scales never do. At the time I told myself it was because I was pregnant - true but what an excuse!! I was only 26 weeks pregnant with my youngest son when he decided to arrive weighing the grand total of 2lb 2 and a half oz, so I never really gained any 'baby' weight. So here goes, for all you priviliged lot out there, who can keep a secret and don't know who I am - last time I got weighed at a class was 11th April 2007 (baby born 28th April 2007) and I was 17st 10lbs. There, it's in black and white.

However, on a lighter note, according to my scales at home I am now 15st 4lbs (never told anyone my weight before - ever - but now I have, there is no going back). Excuse the pun but I do feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders for sharing with all you loely strangers out there.

You all stay on the straight and narrow and slinky and so will I. Have a good day.

As long as its bovril from the jar you are fine, just be careful what you put with it to make a sauce.
