I love my Polti, great at cleaning and a whizz at defrosting the freezer in minutes!
I hadn't thought about using it to defrost the freezer. A job on my to-do list.
Any one cleaned their oven with theirs?£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

silly question time! i have borrowed a steam cleaner and it has varous nozzles etc but for instance if i was cleaning hob how close would i hold nozzle to the hob? right on it or a few inches away?0

Which ever works best i used to blast the grime out close up then move the nozzle further away foir lighter grease.0

What happens to all these posh steam cleaners that people don't like? Are they all stashed in the cupboard under the stairs?
Because I would love to buy a Polti or Karcher with the iron attachment, but can't justify the expense.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

I cleaned my oven and it came up a treat! It hadn't been done for ages and was filthy:o I had to use a bit of elbow grease but it was better than chemicals. My steamer was from Argos, Morphy Richards about £30 I think.0 -
We've got a steam cleaner, I can't remember the model but it's similar to the Polti. It's one of the best things I've bought. It made a cracking job of cleaning our rental house when we moved out and shifted an ink stain on the hall carpet that I thought was going to cost us our deposit so it paid for itself with that alone.
It's fantastic at cleaning ovens and hobs and all the little nooks and crannies in between woodwork, trim on appliances etc.
We also steam mattresses, rugs, curtains etc.
It's worth making sure that you have a model that you can top up with water whilst it's hot. I gather some models have to cool down before you can fill them which I'd find irritating.Piglet

Mine is a vacuum cleaner too. I have a Polti Vaporetto Lecoasira.
An expensive purchase at the time but more than paid for it's self.

It's worth keeping an eye on Ideal World shopping channel, they often have a Polti as the "blockbuster" or pick of the day" and they're cheaper than the shops.
yes I have bought 2 through Ideal World and they were considerably cheaper! always worth keeping an eye on their websitebertie200
