  • Another vote here for Shark. Have one for about 6 months now and would never go back to a bucket and mop. I now look forward to floor cleaning and have discovered "squeaky clean". I have wood floors and they squeak when I walk on them after steam cleaning.

Are steam cleaners really money saving in that you don't need lots of other chemicals?

I I have found it so, but wonder about the cost of electric, not a cclclue how to work out, but I dont buy kitchen bathroom or cccarpet cleaner now so I think it has saved money also I hate to ususe chemicals.

Ive just got a bargain from ebay :)

Its a Kacher SC1020 - anyone have one?

I am mainly got it to clean grouting on kitchen floor tiles, but would like to use it on carpets. Please could someone tell me how to do this as there are no instructions for carpets (don't think it is designed to be used on them) but its worth at try.

    Thanks
