Hugs to Jayward & all those with the lurgy. Congrats to GR, my DD didn't start sleeping through till she was 5.
Car is back & wasn't too painful. Katy's back & that is painful, kitchen is full of bananas, she's practising her yoga (either that or she's moving the furniture), music is blaring & she's screeching at top volume. I'm full of joy at her return. I thought yoga was meant to be quiet & restful?
Have a good a day as possible one & all.
    Hugs Hester

Oh, Annie; I'm sending massive ((((((hugs)))))) to your nephew, his wife and the whole family. Such a loss is unbearable. My sister went through it many years ago and that sense of loss never really goes; we all still miss the little girl she should have had and feel very cheated that we couldn't get to know her, none more so than my sister herself. When my Mum counts up her many grandchildren, that little girl is on the list as though she is with us. Churchmouse's poem is beautiful, heartbreaking, but beautiful.

    Afternoon all,

Annie, so sorry to hear your sad news, hugs to your family

Hugs to Smoky, PenPin, Anniestar and anyone else in need or want.

OH has lit the living room fire, so windy and cold here, really need to do something about the draughts all over the house before next winter.

House insurance notice came yesterday, renewal due mid May....2 hours later had a phone call from the company offering a €30 discount if I paid it now...so I did and then had a panic as I hadn't verified caller's identity, rang company and all ok...had a few minutes of terror, won't happen again.

We are having calzoni for dinner, watched an Italian cookery programme done by some American person and that's what she was making, with prawns, so decided to do the same, although most Italians I know would consider it a huge sin to put cheese with fish....I won't tell them!

Finished christening shawl for DGD3 last night, now going to do a small Aran for a former colleague who had a baby boy last week.

DD2's partner is en route for Cork (via late as usual Aer Lingus!) as his mother is very ill...he is hoping to make it in time, she had a stroke some years ago and has been in nursing home ever since. DD2 is upset that she cannot go with him but not easy with 2 little ones.

    Have a good weekend all

Anniebooklover((((hugs))) to you, your niece and nephew and all the family.im so sorry about your news.

i dont know what to say.Ive had my share of misscarriages and ectopic pregnancys as most of you know, but even then i didnt see or get to know them inside of me,unlike your niece.I carnt even imagine how shes feeling.

im just lost for words when something like this happenes-even when you physically dont know a person, the feelings are the same.

you and your family will be in my thoughts, and i say a little prayer for their litle girl.

    Afternoon everyone,

anniebooklover - so sad to hear your awful news, big ((((HUGS)))) for the family, Churchmouse`s poem was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes.
As someone said earlier (sorry memory like a sieve can`t remember who) it`s made worse when people don`t acknowledge that somethings happened as they don`t know what to say, talking about things always helps.

Hillstep Happy Birthday! this is for you ----> :bdaycake: have a lovely day.

Thankyou for all the hugs for my Auntie, i`ve been thinking about her all day,
we are are taking some family to see her on Sunday so that should cheer her up.

The weather here is awful it`s freezing and lashing down with rain, i`m off to start dinner and hopefully DH will take the houndies out for their second walk when he arrives home soon.
    Catch up later.

    Hi

anniebooklover what sad news. A friend of mine lost her DD (stillborn)the day after I gave birth to DD2 seven years ago. I felt so guilty but found that it really helped her by her talking about her DD. She joined a wonderful bereavement group for other parents in the same situation. It was so supportive and most of them went onto have lots more children and made sure that their younger additions knew all about their elder bothers and sisters. My friend had 2 more children and they know all about their big sister.

hilstep Hope you've had a great birthday!

Hurray it's Friday:D and I'm shattered. I've had another busy day at work and most of my morning was taken up with a person from an outside agency who is supposed to be providing and organising support for a pupil with SEN, but as usual it's one step forward and two steps back .

I've been number crunching since I returned from work, as next year we're going to start overpaying our mortgage but I would also like to go back to Florida. I've calculated that if we have a frugal cheap camping holiday in Ireland next year then we might be able to go back to Florida in 2010. I would like to pay the mortage off quicker but life is too short and we've had 2 fab holidays over there which have done us all the world of good. I've told DH that I going to become even more of a tightwad/moneysaver! :rotfl:

Tonight's tea is a cheap/lazy tea of oven chips(half bag 50p) and 2 reduced pizzas (£2.99) so much cheaper than a takeaway. I know that hm pizza/chips is much cheaper but Friday is always lazy tea and I refuse to cook as I'm always exhausted. ;)

    Have a peaceful evening.:D

Hubby's run of work has come to an abrupt end, his brother is unable to pay him this week as he's just discovered his wife is £3k in arreas with the mortgage, so no money for hubby & no money to buy the stuff needed to finish the job, fortunately hubby is only 1 weeks wages down, so it won't affect us too much, I'm hoping to see SIL soon & will give her a piece of my mind, the money has all gone on clothes & booze.
