(((((hugs))))) to those who need them, there seems to be a fair few of you today. it really puts the petty annoyances of life into perspective to read this thread.

very lazy dinner of fishfingers and smily faces with salad for the kids, and an omelette for me. they are in bed now, and i'm trying to ignore the squabbling i can hear.

spent today running about and dont feel like i've achieved anything. drove 5 miles to waitrose for some bottom butter - the best nappy cream in the world - for my friend who had a baby yesterday, only to find they didn't have any. on the way home the petrol light came on in the car and when i got to the garage i couldn't get the petrol cap off. i struggled for ages, a man even came over to help, and then i realised i'd locked the car to keep the baby safe and that would have locked the petrol cap too. oops.

just feeding dd3 to sleep, then i need to tidy up my house and do yet more washing. will it never end?!!

Annie hugs to you and your family. The birth of a little person too special for this world is so hard. I gave my little one an extra kiss and cuddle tonight at bedtime, and said a prayer for your great-niece's mummy and daddy.

Tattycath, hugs to you and yours too.

Hester tell them you know someone looking for lodgings that could help with their money problems. Poor Mr H, all that effort and no wages. I assume his brother will pay him later once his own finances are sorted.

Evening all - am going to catch up properly in a bit but it seems there is an extra special need for hugs all round at the moment.

I think I've had proper Man Flu - have been sick for days. Most of the time I love being single but have felt really lonely this week. dd(18) cheered me up yesterday by bringing dgs(3) round to look after me - she bought posh tissues, olbas oil and paracetomol and made a lovely poorly corner of the living room for me and then put White Christmas and Holiday Inn on the dvd. dd(11), who has mostly been living on easter eggs and toast this week, arranged a sleepover at her friends and dd(22) has stayed home to look after me today - so it's not been too bad I suppose. Can't remember phoning w*rk so might be in trouble next week - oh well.

Again hugs to everyone who needs one today
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Hello All

Very tired. Had a long day at work, mainly cos the engineers were in delaying us all from doing our work. But so glad they've come and fixed everything - one of the pcs threatened to blow up yesterday!!!!!

Dinner was pasta, lunch a sarnie and breakie a muffin

Really need to lose some weight. Doesn't seem to matter what I do though I just can't shift it.

Spoke to a lady earlier who might be able to get me some work in America which would be fantastic. So fingers crossed there.

Not spent a penny today so very pleased with myself.:D

    Hope everything's ok

((((((((pretz)))))))) what an awful day for you :(

It seems to be a bad news day for a lot of people - so am going to be as sensitive as possible and take myself off onto the Panny thread to jump for joy that I just won a Panasonic SD-255 breadmaker for £69.50 including postage on ebay :j

I've had a whole week like that. It started when I called the boy next door Camel instead of Callum.
