AnnieBL ((hugs)) to you and neice and nephew, my Mum lost my brother at a day old, 18 months before me, shenever forgot him, or his birthday. tattycathy ((hugs)) to you and dd too, you need to emphasise she must tell you if she feels carp. ((Mr & Mrs HH)) too, bet they still have more spare than you do. ((pretz)). All those with the lurgy, no offence, but please don't pass it this way. Jayward, hope they are sorting you out al little. Heard any more from the review? Twink Sorry to hear about your Aunt.
SS & BB how did today go?
The bus trip today, took us first to the flower auction house, massive place where the flowers have to move quickly as they have to be fresh. Then on to the Rotterdam flood barrier, very interesting, I think we need to consider some of these. From there to Delft, an hour and hour for lunch and a wonder round the town, not enough time really, from there on to a authentic Delft Pottery and factory shop, beautiful hand finished goods, but prices to dream of. After than a ride round showing us the sights on the way back to Rijnsburg. There was a sole Tebettian on a protest at the International Court of Justice.
We should be out socialising, but DH not sleeping too good as the 'planes from Schopol(sp) airport go over on their descent and we are used to silence at home, so he is snoozing while we have Queen on loudly (to drown out the 'plane noise).

Evening All!
Before the gossip I want to give hugs to all those out there in pain tonight, there seem to be a lot. Special mentions to Pretz & AnnieBL for their sad news. Hugs to all the poorlies, special mentions to PenPin, Jayward and Stefejb. Special hugs to Smokey too. Hester I hope your DH manages to get paid, go give her a piece of all our minds.
Happy Birthday to Hilstep - hope you have a brilliant time in London.
Well where shall I start?? We had a lovely day today watching lots of different birds flying around enjoying the windy weather (at the Hawk Conservancy). Martyn, when he forgets his troubles, doesn't stop talking! He tells the worst jokes in the world, which my DS though hilarious! I think I managed to cheer him up for a while. He is staying the Andover area until Sunday (yes he has been invited round for Sunday Dinner). He is parked up at Stockbridge at a little campsite which he says is nice and cosy.
Dinner tonight was h/m soup and h/m bread, nothing like comfort food when you are down and chuffing cold!
Take care all, hope tomorrow is a brighter day.

Right, well. Very tired tonight and having boys tomorrow. Cot up, bedtime toys out, dinner cooked for tomorrow (mince) and now I am very tired.
Just want to say love and hugs to you all.

Donny gal...your posts are just reminding me how much I will miss my trips to Holland when DS1 and family re-locate to Ireland in June, I was just beginning to pick up the odd word of Dutch too, even though there is little need they speak English so well!
Forgot to wish Hilstep a happy birthday earlier....heres a cake for whenever you get back from your London trip:bdaycake:
