((((((((( Aniebooklover your niece and your nephew))))))))))
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news,
I don't think you could write anything better than what is in your heart, We lost a son at 81/2 months, a lot of people would not mention or acknowledge what had happened, I think they were feeling awkward but I found it comforting when people did enquire. I blamed myself at the time, the usual if only this, if only that, I expect your nephew's wife will blame herself . I finally accepted that it was not meant to be. All you can do is be there and listen when they want to talk, and they will. Try to reasure her that she did nothing wrong, don't know what else to say really, just give them lots of love.0 -

I think that's great advice."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hi to all - posting again as it is my day off:j
So sorry to hear Anniebooklovers news, and I agree with Betheebee - people are too often afraid to mention these things, but when it happens to you, you don't want it glossed over as if nothing has happened. ((((hugs to all who need them))))
Have got the washing out on the line and have now got to tackle the mountain of paperwork by the computer!! I must deal with it, not just make it into lots of new piles.:o

I'm so sorry to hear your news, annie. Churchmouse, the poem is beautiful.
My little triumph today seems fairly empty now, but I'll post as I was going to do anyway.
My lad slept through the night for the first time last night and tonight DH and I are going on a date. We've been out in the afternoon a couple of times but haven't been out together in the evening for months so I'm looking forward to it very much.
Breakfast was pancakes and fruit
Lunch is mushroom pate sandwiches and fruit
Dinner - is NOT BEING COOKED BY ME...woohoo!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Not an empty triumph at all Gingham, and I'm sure annie would want you to share:D Hope you have a lovely date with your DH. Know that feeling, anything I don't have to cook, or wash up afterwards is definitely woohoo time:T (sorry for the appalling sentence structure there:rotfl: )
Bet you're hoping for a repeat performance tonight;)You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
