    Morning everyone,

Thanks for the welcomes yesterday.....it is a bad day when you go out to get your daughter's favorite breakfast cereal that she had since she was tiny....it used to just over a pound for a box, then it was £1.39...then £1.75 - other supermarket sold it for £1.50 so we stocked up but we don't go there much...now our local shop that we like going to has it at £1.87!

I think a return to porridge for everyone is in order so that is our quest for the week.

After a purple patch of 5 eggs in 4 days, our hens have stopped laying and I don't know why...

Beans on toast for tea last night and probably pasta for tea....need to work on getting the pasta sauces cheaper as they really ramp up the cost. Might try making my own from chopped tomatoes...

Weather -wise, slightly less cold but still chilly....

Hugs to all who'd like them...
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

    Good morning everybody......

I am a morning person so this is my time of the day. I forgot to sign in earlier I have been cruising around the Internet to see what's new, and listening to TODAY on radio 4.

I am trying to make life easier for myself by making a spreadsheet for when I do my online tesco shopping, usually I order willy nilly. Being totally allergic too EXCEL it's not so easy to do. I use openoffice on this laptop, and have recently downloaded the latest version...it's harder than the last one......Shish

I slept like the dead last night, and I have not dared open the curtains yet, it looks grey out there yuck.

I am wondering if I should give my head a rest today ( I want to move furniture, wash curtains, spring clean) or attempt suicide by washing more curtains.......

I think I will think about that for another while.....
Today, my BEST is good enough.

Lazy day today. Could not be bothered to get up and do anything. I have th day off and it's cold and windy. Did loads of work yesterday, so have decided to play on the computer, make some Boston baked beans (takes 7 hours) and balance my books.
I have to get my Brothers birthday pressie and pay up my sponsorship for the marathon. ( My friend ran it).
Loads of coffee and no pressure to do anything..... nice

    Morning everyone,

Had a lovely day here with DGS. He's still a bit chesty but he's over the worst of it now. It's been showers and colder here. Went out in the yard just before he left and there were two beautiful rainbows in the sky. Don't think he'd ever seen them for real before. He was so in awe of them. It's lovely seeing things like that through their eyes. You lose that when you become an adult. I'll try and stop doing that in future. :D

He had 2 hours sleep so I caught up with the ironing & started back on my half finished dishcloth. DD staying tonight. We hope to go out for tea but the weather doesn't look good to venture out. YS called today and he is arriving back here next Sat for a week's holiday. :T I expect I'll have to buy some meat. :D

    Hillstep :bdaycake: Enjoy London.

    Morning Everyone

It is very windy out there today!

I was good yesterday, did all the HW and place looks nice now. Had my haircut, its very short and spikey, very easy to cope with!

Just off down the town to Aldi, don't need a lot this week.

OH is working very late tonight (last time he did this sort of job he got home at 3am) we also have DSD here this weekend so me and her are having a girlie evening, facepacks and DVDs.

Not sure what we are having for tea tonight - will open the freezer and hope inspiration strikes me.
