Not raining here yet, but it looks like it might be stormy later. Off to work today, I am supposed to have a half day to finish up my holiday this year, but may need to load a lorry with my new fork lift skills, so may be home early and may not  . Either way we have hm pizza, chips and salad for tea, and a glass of wine later on  .

DD is off with her dad again today, it has been a huge help for me, and she has loved it, they went to the new forrest yesterday to visit friends.

Will do a wash later, and I need to change the beds and get them in the wash.

Rzl you will be pleased to know I ordered the two CD's yesterday, can't wait to hear them, thanks again xx

    Pen pin, hugs xx

    Morning everyone!

Hugs to pp and everyone that needs them.

Well we have had some news on the house. The people that came to look yesterday are interested in buying. Basically it is the developed who has the house that we want. We decided to take our house off the market but he then said he would be interested in buying ours to rent out. So now we are in negotiations for the price as we need full asking for ours and a reduction on his! We have been quite cheeky with the offer we have put in, but if you dont ask you dont get!!

DW and BM are on, DS let me sleep til 6.30 this morning which is good! Going to have a look at the house again today and then need to think of something to with my brother.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning all!

(((Hugs))) to SMOKY and the LOs.

    (((Hugs))) to PENPIN

SUNNYDAY - (((hugs))) to your poor Auntie; she has really been through it, hasn't she?

HILSTEP - Happy Birthday to you! :bdaycake:

    CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:

Well, DH started work slightly later this morning so he's only just left. He'll be popping back later to pick up the wages for the sub-contractors once I've been to the bank to withdraw them. I was typing up the payslips at 5.30 this morning!

I need to do my food shopping and see how much I can reduce it by - the cost of food is increasing all the time, isn't it? When you are OS'ing there's nowhere else to go! I said to my DH that I didn't think I could get the cost down any more and he said 'you're doing a great job already' so at least he can see where I've made savings. Mince is so useful, isn't it?!!
Luckily, he'll eat anything I make which, tonight, is going to be Spaghetti Carbonara so at least that's an easy one to prep for.

I shall have to resist the urge to go to the charity shops today - the urge mught just be too strong to ignore! Sometimes, you can go in those places with about £1.50 and still come out with some real bargains so I'll set myself a £1.50n target and report back with what I find!

MARTYN - if you're reading this, have I got to the 'waffle' level yet?! Hope your adventure is going well.

Well, I'd better go and clear up the breakfast stuff, clean the bathroom and get ready to go out.

See you all later and (((hugs))) to all the poorly ones.

Happy birthday Hillstep-Have a great day!!

Well i got loads done yesterday, but the one im most plesed with is i emptyed the ironing baskets, not just the `main` basket but also my `hiden ironing` which was filled with summer items and going out stuff, items we dont wear very often LOL. So not a piece of ironing left in the house until i do some more washing later!!!!

Took ds1 to the doctors (yes i actually got a appointment!) and he has a ear infection, but he is feeling alot better and didnt wake up with it last night, so fingers crossed hes on the mend and will be fully fit for the big match on sunday!!!!

Plans for today, finish sorting ds1+ds3 clothes out for Malta, they go 2 weeks on monday, got them some post toe flip flops yesterday, they havent had this style before and i am making them wear them around the house because at the minute they are walking around like they are on the moon in them!!!!!! I know they take a little getting used to but im sure i never walked like a spaceman when i first had any!!!!LOL

Got some more items listed on ebay (which i found at the bottom of hidden ironing basket!!) and hope to get some more bits on today.

    Have a good day everyone

    Good morning everyone,

    (((Hugs))) to Pen-Pin and Smoky.

I have been a bit quiet as I am fighting off a chest infection. I could kiss purpleivy who mentioned her sons peak flow - thanks to her I started measuring mine. It's dropped from my normal 420 to a pathetic 280 this morning, so it looks like a trip to the doctor.

I am keeping on top of the housework, all the ironing is done, and ds (3) has beautiful pink toenails. We are surviving on batch cooked stuff from the freezer, so there's definitely a plus side of cooking when you feel well.

Hugs to anyone else feeling poorly, and anyone who needs a squidge,

    take care all of you.
