The only downside with Autoaid or any claim back schemes is you have to have the money to pay the recovery firms
Hence my question, which remains unanswered.

Martin refers to the fact they would bill you if you had no cash or credit card with you; is that what happens? No problems?

Europe assistance have offered me a renewal fee for £45 for assistace and recovery etc. It has gone up a bit from last year which I thik was £37

Would just like to know if there are any better offers out there anyone knows about.

    Thanks.

I've just made a claim and it took 8 days to receive a cheque. You can pay by credit card and it won't cost you anything as you'll receive the cash way before the billing period of your CC

I have used Direct Line (similar if not the same), I think their partner was Green Flag.

Had to call them out on the motorway, arrived within 20 minutes and took me and the car back home. It was over the 10 miles, so they charged me 20 quid for the extra milage (in the T&C's so fine, had the basic policy).

    No quibbles at all.
  • Hello, lots of good reviews of AutoAid, but does anyone know if they cover flat tyres?

    Thanks.
