C'mon, lets have her ebay I.D. so we can all have a laugh at her, erm, I mean, so we know not to buy from her (unless we want free stuff of course!)

Good on you though, although personally I would have resold it, given the money to chartiy and then sent her an email with the link showing how much it had gone for.

Oh, and send her a brick in the post with no stamp on too!!

:rotfl: I was reading this thinking surely you wont really take it to the charity shop. She must be livid.

If she overcharged the postage for your bag and did the same to the buyer of the radley she would of been £5 up anyway. Some people are far too rude.

If I had done that I would of given you the £5 and asked you nicely if you could forward it to the correct buyer. :D
  • this seller is TSFE - she's now going to get a chargeback for £56 from the buyer of the bag and lose the bag!! Given that she was willing to pay £2.22, an extra £3 is nothing and ensures their buyer gets the bag. (I think £5 pp is reasonable given that they charged this in the auction)

    silly person

I've got a feeling this isn't going to be the end of the story! :D

Wonder if we'll get a thread started by a disgruntled seller who had somebody 'steal' her Radley bag and be really unreasonable about returning it! ;) :rotfl:

Just wished I lived close to Upminster! I could do with a nice Radley bag. Somebody will be on the Charity Shop Bargains thread in a while telling us all about the bargain they've found in Oxfam..... :D

I doubt it... I bet the staff have kept it (for a nominal payment of course!)
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

This happened to me once about 2 years ago. I bought something from a seller in the US which arrived and then another item arrived from same seller for another person. I emailed seller and she asked kindly if I'd forward it to the person (also a UK buyer) and she paid me enough to cover the postage etc through Paypal and was very apologetic at the trouble I'd have to go to rectifying her mistake. It all worked out well in the end. However, if she had expected me to send it at my own expense I would have told her to get stuffed.

Just to put a difrerent spin on it maybe it was a copy??!!
I agree one hundred per cent with what you have done. If I had been the seller I would have sent you an envelope pre paid pre adressed and asked you to send it on with a £5 postal order for your trouble!

    What a silly moo!.

Aaaagh! You've disposed of it already?

I can understand that you wanted to have done with the whole business, but she might argue that you didn't give her sufficient time to recover her property. If she wants to be malicious, she might involve the police. She might say that her husband wrote the abusive emails and that she knew nothing about the correspondence.

    Just a thought.

It sold for £56.79 - to those who wanted to know. I have reported her to ebay & forwarded all her abusive emails to them, not banking on them doing anything though - it is ebay after all :D

:O £56.79....i bet she'll be fuming now :rotfl: well that should teach her to be a biatch....a little manners goes a long way....esp when you were willing to post it back for £5....im so glad you gave it away :T
