  • Hi Di3004

I have looked through the links and filled in the letters to get copies of my accounts, i am sure i qualify. my only concern is my I.V.A (indevidual Voluntary Arrangement) is legally binding. so i am already in a legal situation with these people. does that have an effect on claiming PPI or worse have an effect on my I.V.A? after all its my house on the line, so i need to be sure there's no conflict with these two legal positions?

many thanks for your help Di

    Hi hun
Yes it would be best to be sure first if its safe to do this reclaiming thing I think.
I am hoping that Tiggrae may be here later to check this out hun, maybe Marshallka may know of anyone else in this situation and get back later if that is the case.

keep checking on here now and again later hun in case others post here for you.;)

  • hi di the egg letter reads as follows :-

as stated in my previous letter you chose to take this protection of your own volition during your online application you were provided with all the relevant info to enable you to make an informed decision as to whether or not the cover was suitable for your needs

my decision remains unchanged and i cannot uphold your complaint , if you remain dissatisfied with my decision you can now refer your complaint to the fos .

    what do you think ?

    Hi there
Right then hun, its time to get to the FOS then, even though I do not actually see the word "final decision" by egg??? only "decision"
If this is the case I would write back to Egg and tell them you are now preparing to take this to the FOS for them to investigate your case.

They may have a change of heart then, as I have heard of that one before, and at the same time complete the FOS form on here:

    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm

Does this help at all hun?;)

Now hun.......when did they send you the first letter on this then to have given you that chance?
Was it that long ago because they are supposed to give you a certain amount of time to get back to them too.......
I assume this must have been the 2nd letter response - am I right?
What was the date on that letter hun?
