I have not got time to read back (just painting so typing slow to avoid getting little bits of paint on my keyboard:eek: ) but have you had any replies yet from the FOS about your "figures" maxdp??

    Hi

No still waiting but this is Barclays through and through. I will have to nag again I expect. to my Adjudicator. Sorry to hear you having trouble getting through to them. Mine has been good at responding to me e mails and telephone calls so have been lucky with that side.

I have not had any responses cause first two weeks on annual leave and then next two weeks on sick leave. I have rang his under study (i assume!!!) and he told me that they still have not had anything from the Co-op and they are not co-operatiing with them as yet.

Slightly off topic here:o but has anyone had any trouble with insect bites this year as i have about 20 of the things from yesterday /today and they itch like crazy. Have we got an infestation again this year??

    Hi

Know there is a problem with insects at moment. Anyone that has rabbits needs to get them injected against Myximatosis (think that how you spell it). Think they said it was cause of the dry weather we are having.

That was quick then. I wondered if this had been fast tracked or if with it being a bank (cause it seems the banks are quicker somehow) they deal quicker anyway??

My co-op was quick but not any more as he has been off ever since and they have not received anything from co-op as yet. He did say that although it was with an adjudicator it would not be any quicker as co-op were not co-operating.

I was told yesterday that they do not give them a certain amount of time to co-operate with them, there is not time limit. This was annoying again.

Not bad really I thought, and nothing mentioned about "fast track" in the letter, not unless they do not do this I don't know...... .

But like you said with a bank it may be a little quicker.;)

I do remember though the adjudicator told me on the phone said now that it has been referred to him, it may still take some time, as this also depends on how long the bank will take to respond too, it could even take until next year before the final decision of this if it gets too complexed and passed on to the actual ombudsman.

Oh that is reassuring (think not). It is very frustrating I think people think that as soon as you get to an adjudicator then it is sorted quickly. As we know between us all here that is not the case. Think the FOS should fine companies so much per week until it is sorted then they may get their fingers out.

Do you mean though tiny little nidgy things ?? , I seem to get unlucky with those things too........
Me and my daughter are covered. I am in the garden quite a bit as tidying it up for winter but these bites are nasty. I stood in the kitchen the other nigt and told me hubby to look at my bum:o and while he looked it got seven bites from something:eek: . They itched like mad and then yesterday after doing the painting another 10 odd and today itching again. I wondered if we had an infestation of them little black flies again like the other year when britain did.

maxdp, i said that yesterday.. I think that companies that are known offenders should be made to do automatic pay backs like Liverpool Victoria and then FOS would not have such a big waiting list. Its ridiculous when we are all complaining about the same things.

Saw the news this morning about mixxy. Poor little bunnies. When i was a kid i worked on a farm and while biking down the track one morning I saw some big eyes and a lovely little bunny. I thought he was poorly so bundled him into my bike bag and peddled away. I asked the farmer to look at him and he did with a shot gun:eek: . I did cry. I didn't realise he had mixxy and thinking now it was probably the kindest thing to do.

Could never listen to bright eyes again.

    Ouch......
We're having the summer weather now and these things get everywhere, hubby is prone to getting these mosquito like bites, is that what yours are hun ?
Use that stuff you add to chicken pox hun that should hopefully stop the itching.;)

Its mad isn't it, its great to be in the garden, making the most of the weather the same time - sorting out the garden, where these horrible insects get in the way of us enjoying this.....
