The FOS have phoned me out of the blue this afternoon and Barclays are offering me £2280.40 as a gesture of goodwill! I nearly fell off m y chair, the woman asked me if i'd heard anything from Barclays and i told her no, she then said she was delighted to be ther bearer of good news and then told me the figure, I can't bloody believe it, she's sending me copies of all the paperwork to look over. I'm still in shock, but i've been dying to get on here and tell you all

You claimed on misselling with them (Barclays) so I doubt you could claim unfair rebate as well as they have paid you for misselling and given it all back to you. You could always try;)

did you go through a fast track system with the FOS hun ?:D

Mine has been with the FOS since July, and still waiting to be passed on to the adjudicator, now requested fast track due to some change in some circumstances.;)

Well done anyway !!:D :j

I have my dads with the FOS, i sent that off about three weeks after mine. I think barclays made it easier for me by not providing me with an answer 13 after my original letter! Hope you get the same outcome as me mate! still really can't quite believe it

    Hi Sarah

Well done and congratulations. Just check you are getting exactly what you are entitled to. Good will gesture makes hairs on back of my neck stand on end cause it sounds as though they are not accepting liability but are settling because they are so kind. Please check figures. Have mine with FOS at moment and uphelp but Barclays are trying to forget and change figures. Be warned. Saying that am sure all will be ok with you. :T:beer:
