did you go through a fast track system with the FOS hun ?:D

Mine has been with the FOS since July, and still waiting to be passed on to the adjudicator, now requested fast track due to some change in some circumstances.;)

Well done anyway !!:D :j

not that i know of, just sent the complaint form off with copies of all the letters from barclays stating that they were unable, at this time, to provide me with an answer, this went on for 13 weeks, i even phoned them before i rang the fos, they still couldn't give me an answer, i even phoned them back and told them i'd submitted my complaint to the fos and gave them the ref no.
LTSB PPI - £770 ish for dad
LTSB PPI for dad - £1800 for dad
    Barclays PPI claim for self-£2204
Dads home insurance - reduced by £200 a year "WE DO NOT LIVE IN FLOOD AREA AND I DON'T SEE WHY WE SHOULD PAY FOR THOSE THAT DO - I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR"!

I have my dads with the FOS, i sent that off about three weeks after mine. I think barclays made it easier for me by not providing me with an answer 13 after my original letter! Hope you get the same outcome as me mate! still really can't quite believe it
Co-op are stalling with sending the things that FOS have requested from them so I don't think that will go in their favour, i hope not anyway. How long before FOS sorted it from when you were assigned an adjudicator sarah??

Well what does it say about the repayments on the agreement? Is that what you ended up actually paying and if so what figures are on the agreement. Perhaps you did not take the PPI!!

    Found it!!!

On the "Proposal/schedule for life, disability and unemployment insurance" document it gives the loan amount of £11,000.00 policy number etc. Further down the form there is the following:

    Cover Monthly Premium
Single Disability and unemployment 10.5% of installment N
Single Life Disability and unemployment 15.5% Y
Joint Life, Single disability and unemplo' 18% N

Am I guessing then that I do have cover and am paying a 15.5% premium I'm claiming for + 8% interest?

    Thanks

Sometimes banks seem to be a lot quicker. Mine was quite quick with the Co-op. I think its because they are usually quick and easy compared to some.

But how much did you borrow and then what figures are on the agreement and the repayments, do they match the agreement??

    Hi Sarah

Well done and congratulations. Just check you are getting exactly what you are entitled to. Good will gesture makes hairs on back of my neck stand on end cause it sounds as though they are not accepting liability but are settling because they are so kind. Please check figures. Have mine with FOS at moment and uphelp but Barclays are trying to forget and change figures. Be warned. Saying that am sure all will be ok with you. :T:beer:

Hi, mcolak worked out that my claim for mis-selling would be 1444.50, i didn't actually ask for this amount, this is what they have come up with

I got a letter from the FOS dated 16 aug saying that they had passed my complaint to their casework support team to await allocation to an adjudicator, that's the last thing i heard! until today
